Masalaa Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Aurora - 3140 S Parker Rd #7, USA

Went for the weekend buffet 12/23/23. First, unpleasantly surprised that it was priced higher at $17.99 instead of advertised $15.99 because it was "the holidays." Here are the reasons for my single star rating: 1) food was not hot, e.g. cold sambar, cold rasam 2) trays were always empty, 3) only one person trying to take orders, receive payment, etc 4) we were told there will be be complimentary dosa, but after ordering and waiting for 45 minutes, we left in frustration without eating it, 5) coconut chutney is kept in ice. Dipping cold vada in even colder chutney is not the best way to consume it, 6) there was no rice to eat with other curries, 7) no daal of any kind For desserts, there is a massive bucket of ice cream. Not a thoughtful choice for this winter time. The management is trying to take a shortcut. It was surprisingly crowded. Needless to say I will not be going back.

Another wonderful evening shared with friends at Masalaa. Tonight we all decided to have some chai, dosas, Naan and Palak Paneer. Everything was excellent! This restaurant takes some time to bring out your food but it's worth the wait and you can't beat the pricing for superb vegan and vegetarian food. Thank you Masalaa!

I ordered puri bhaaji and the taste of bhaji was rather bland. And they literally served mint chutney with baby corn Manchurian...like really?! And we had to ask for each utensil to be provided instead of they themselves giving what's needed for the dish. The water was also served directly from those Costco bottles. Might take out but will never come again for a dine in experience here.

Delicious food. This is unique and authentic south Indian food that is not represented well in Denver. All dishes are vegetarian or vegan and very tasty. We had bhel puri, paneer tikka, idly/vada, masalaa dosa and lassi and all were as good as home cooked. Give this place a taste, you won’t regret it and it’s a wonderful change of pace from the usual Indian food that’s commonly served in the states. I’m excited to go back and try the pav bhaji and chole bhatura.

Diamond in the rough situation here. Unassuming South Indian vegetarian restaurant. I love that this place exists to serve delicious food at a great value. We went on a Friday night and were able to sit right away. Food came out one by one and service can get backed up but don't let that dissuade you from coming here. The food is too good to pass up. We ordered bhel puri (perfect), idly vada combo, paper masala dosa, aloo paratha and malai kofta. We got too much but man it was worth it. We will go back in a heart beat.

I have been returning to this restaurant for over 15 years and the flavors are some of the best Colorado hast offer if you are looking for complex flavor bombs in every dish this is the place. very vegetarian friendly. Expect a relaxed environment and to take your time getting the food. I drive 45 minutes each way to eat here and am never disappointed. A hidden Gem.

Again, I thought I had the best Indian restaurant, not. This place is out of this world and it's the only vegetarian Indian restaurant in Denver. We had for appetizers samosa very crispy and fresh. Our entree; Aloo Mutter and Paneer Tikka Masala. It was very creamy and spicy. Here if you don't specify the food comes automatically spicy and hot. The garlic naan was a little too greecy but delicious. The puri (not on the menu) was exceptional. For desert we had gulab jamun it was warm soaked with flavors I never tasted before. Overall an outstanding experience. Definitely will be returning.
