The #19 pastrami sandwich is next level and has convinced me that I need to add more seeds to my rye bread because the bite of caraway was so good with the juicy pastrami and crunchy coleslaw. Coming from NY, this is a stellar pastrami sandwich. I highly recommend, especially if you aren't familiar with perilous neighborhoods or if you're driving, to order ahead and have curbside pickup. I didn't know they offered that until I got inside the diner. Parking can be hard to find but I think they also have a parking lot for customers. Which I also didn't know until I parked.

Langer’s Delicatessen-Restaurant located at 704 S Alvarado St, Los Angeles, CA 90057 has bar none the best Pastrami I have ever had in my life! I’ve tried a bunch too, and none come close to this perfection. Amazingly great taste, texture, and umami (Jewish food has umami? You bet!!!!!). Their crinkle fries are outstanding too. Cheesecake and other Desserts are made in house - not ordered from outside! 10/10 rating of Langers! I met up with Norman Langer and he was a delight. Very passionate about his food and customers. Worth the flight in!!!!

Delicious brisket sandwich and a nice green salad. My friend had an omelette and mom had a chicken salad sandwich. Frank was a fun waiter and free parking a block away for 90 minutes.

In a classic style diner, is one of the best pastrami sandwiches. The rye didn't have the chemical taste of most rye breads, the coleslaw was not drowned in thousand Island and the pastrami was soft and juicy. We don't normally care about pastrami but this was delicious.

Awesome food, great service, mom and pop feel Must try restaurant. Will be back, so glad I got the opportunity try their food. I got the pastrami with Sauerkraut and wife got pastrami with Swiss. Parking down the block free with langers validation.

The pastrami is wonderful! Everyone loved their dishes. The pickles are cold and crisp. The pastrami has a fantastic brisket-esque crust and the flavor is incredible. It’s not thin deli deliver but bigger slices. The onion bread was soft, warm, and tasty.

Came here for a lunch with my friends . Have been here like 5 years ago so kinda forgot how the experience was. We got some appetizers and pastrami sandwich #19. It was amazing. Pastrami was thick and was melting in my mouth, it wasn't oversalted, cole slaw was tasty, the bread was crispy. The service was amazing too. I literally have nothing bad to say about this establishment even tho I am a pretty picky reviewer. Highly recommended to anyone who likes good food.
