Good place, service terrible overpriced, food is okey. Drinks are horrible and pricy!

The place is a great place for friends and family to eat good food and made bigger for dancing and activities

A below average experience. For starters, they don't allow you to order the whole rotisserie chicken on weekends for dine in. Second, they don't have tilapia ceviche, despite it being on the menu. Now on to my dining experience: after I was told I couldn't order the whole chicken, I explicitly asked if I could order TWO half orders of the chicken. Waitress said, yes of course. When the food came out, the French fries portion was ridiculously small. Barely enough for a child. We had to order a second portion of fries on the side. Second, we asked about our second order of the half chicken. The waitress was a little rude accusing me of never haven ordered two. I insisted that I did, and she kept insisting I didn't. I dropped it, and told her to forget the second order of the half chicken. Finally, we ordered the sea bass ceviche, and it didn't arrive to our table until we were almost done with the chicken. The only redeemable part of dinner was the chaufa, but even that wasn't enough to make up for the poor service and odd menu restrictions. On top of all that, it was a Saturday night, so of course they had music blasting throughout the restaurant at full volume. There were only 3 other tables filled, no need for that level of volume when the restaurant is barely full. Not pleasant at all. I will not be returning.

Ordered ceviche to go. They told me it was. 10 minute wait. 45 minutes later it was ready. Fish was so soft that it was tasteless. Pieces of octopus in the bowl even though I asked for fish only. Bowl was full with red onions and barely any corn. Very disappointed. For $25.00, I’ll never go here again.

Service was horrible. Food was super salty and overpriced. I would never recommend anyone to come here. I’ll never come back !!

This is an edit of my former review of La Choza Náutica, seven months ago. I wrote my concerns about prices compared to other peruvian restaurants. Today, I got surprised by the adding of tip as it was mandatory, when I asked them to correct it, they argued that the machine was set to include that amount and they couldn’t change it. The fact is that in NJ, the customer is free to decide how much to tip , it’s voluntary, not mandatory. What they’re doing isn’t complying with this state rules. I’m disappointed of their way to conduct business. I can’t recommend this place.

It is good to have a Peruvian menu near by. Good food and delicious too. Live music weekend. Prices are in the range $15 to $35
