La Carreta Restaurant - Cuban restaurant in Miami - 11740 SW 88th St, USA

This is my first time here! I love it so so much!!! Very friendly staff and super delicious food! I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try good food!!! Will come back soon!

Loved it. I do not speak much Spanish, which would definitely help, but the service was outstanding as was the food. I went back.

Ordered a well done palomilla steak and they gave me a rare one instead, completely unacceptable. Check your meal before you do takeout. At this point I don't trust they cook the food properly if they can't follow simple directions. Unsafe.

Cuban food is a special treat for me. My family would come down to Florida every summer to see family and getting Cuban food was always a highlight. La Carreta was exceptional! Service was prompt and the food came out hot and fresh very quickly. I only wish I had a bigger appetite so I could have gotten some key lime pie. I'll have to make sure on my return I leave some room!

We came for a late dinner with the family and enjoyed the Cuban Paella, Milanesa, Salmon and Chicken Chicharron. It was a great experience we closed with the Tres Leches as a dessert. The food was good, the people were friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was familiar so will come again!

Just placed an Uber order from this location. The amount of food for the price was so little it was insulting. Less than 1/3 of the aluminum container was actually filled with food and half of that food was sautéed onions. It's Miami. Cuban and Latin food places are abundant. This is a place that is coasting off of its name and frankly, there's not much else they can offer. Go literally anywhere else. Open google maps and pick any other place and you'll get a better deal and more quality. Do not be fooled just because you recognize the name.

I ordered delivery 3 times within the same week. On the 3rd delivery, I was told the wait would be 1 hour to an hour and a half long. I understood and so I waited. After waiting for 2 hours, I called the restaurant to get an update and they had no idea where my order was. I waited another half hour before calling back and they said they called the driver and he would be at my place in 6min. After waiting more than 2 hours at this point, I asked if they would give me some sort of discount for waiting so long. They said NO, so I canceled my order. They preferred to lose a customer instead of taking $10 off my bill that was almost $50. Needless to say, I will never order from this location again.

Great food, incredible afordable prices concidering the inflation. Ricardo provided outstanding customer service, the best i ever had in Miami. The food has the flavor of the typical food in Cuba. Very recommended!
