Great park but I give it a 4 because there isn't a lot of shade, except for a Pavillion. It has both big and little kid sections along with a zip line. There is also a basketball court and baseball field next to it along with a wide open grassy area for kids to kick the ball around or run. It does only have one portapotty.
My younger boys love this park the most out of all of the local parks here in Williamsburg. I enjoy the fact that there is also workout equipment for adults to use that surrounds the play area while the kiddos play and you can keep I clear eye out for them while working out. Basketball court, covered public picnic shelter with tables and baseball fields, its never overly crowded just the right amount of folks each time we go!
WHY in the world would you have such a beautiful playground with plenty for your children & grandchildren to do - except use the bathroom!!!??? Just. Whyyyy??? Don’t get me wrong, they do have a building that is complete with a family bathroom! However, the doors are all locked so you can’t even use them!!! Absolutely stupid idea to have them locked!!! Thanks for nothing Williamsburg.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
My 5 year old and I visited this park on a recent outing to Williamsburg. It was wonderful! He loved the variety of play equipment and the space to run. The playground offered plenty of shade and seating for adults. We love Kidsburg but this playground is an excellent, less-busy alternative.
Great facility for softball. Dugouts are HUGE, covered, and really nice. The fields offer great views. No real hangout spots, no concessions, and good bathrooms.
Fun park! There is plenty of room and things for the kids to do. Very well maintained. The only complaint is there is no bathroom. There is a port a potty but that's just gross.
I use to love coming to this park with my daughters but today someone almost stole my car. Be careful when you go here.
The park has a covered picnic area with tables. The playground is nice with foam type spongy pressed mulch? The zip line is popular. Their are individual weight exercise stations surrounding the outer edge of the park. Their is a basketball court. No public restrooms except a port a potty. The park has tennis courts and numerous ball fields. Their is a charging station for vehicles. Their is plenty of parking. I have seen people walk their dogs, however their is not a fenced in dog park. Veterans park has a new one that is real nice. Open sun up to sun down.
Top notch gym. The group of trainers they have are the best in the game. I HATE running but the trainers are so good at saying the right things at the right moments to get me through it. Front desk staff is awesome, especially Stephanie. The owners a
Wildwood Farm was just what we needed! My 3-year-old daughter loves animals and this small farm and its owners did not disappoint. They welcomed us as if we were family, we're extremely knowledgeable about their animals and have amazing products. My
Results Performance Training is a great place to work at! As a new trainer I am learning key concepts, developmental skills, and overcoming common communication barriers involving fitness. Detric Smith is a great mentor and leader and is willing to a
This is the gym that you want! No gimmicks, no distractions, no games like the big chains. There is a great sense of community here. The staff and owner, Scott seem to know everyone by name and greet you when you come in. The trainers are the best i
Step back into the age of revolution and relive the excitement of fighting for Amerca's independence. Colonial Williamsburg is a must visit to understand the human element that threw the colonies into a battle for their lives. Accurately restored his
I cannot say enough good things about this Tapas bar and store. The service and food are simply amazing, the wine adds to the dishes selected. Of course the store has all we need and more, always leave with some wine and spices/rice to make paella at
Trail is ok for strollers with slight roots easy to manuever. Very short trail, maybe 1500 yards ish. Nice place for kids to dip their feet at waters edge. No bathrooms there.
Honestly the best place I have ever stayed â we were very sad to leave! Scott is a fantastic host who makes amazing breakfasts. We loved the cozy rooms and the overall beautiful feel of the house, plus it was SO walkable to colonial Williamsburg an
Had a great tour guide. He gave us a ton of info on the family. Also took a picture of the front of the house. Didn't realize it was a haunted place till days later. When zoomed in on the picture, i noticed the figure in the bottom window left side.
Very good place for family style lunch. Very generous serving for the price! The meatloaf was a little disappointing, but maybe because we're not used to the regional seasoning. The ribs were deliciously soft and delectable. Would highly recommend
