Kaibab National Forest - National forest in Grand Canyon Village - , USA

Year 2023 - the greenest I've seen it in a long time, many, many years. Have always enjoyed coming up to feel the cool breeze and smell the fresh, pine air. Great to picnic if you don't mind a dry area without a stream or river UNLESS, you want to hike down to the Colorado River.

The Kanab Creek Wilderness is an amazing place! I hiked Hack Canyon, up Kanab Creek, up Dinner Pockets, over to Big Cove Canyon. Then the Ranger Trail #41, around Jump Up Point to Sowats Canyon, down Jump Up, up Kanab Creek, back up Hack Canyon. 3 days/2 nights, nearly 55 miles.

We didn't spend much time here and it has been a while. The forest was beautiful but the road was a wash board. It was very muddy the farther in we went so we turned around. There is abundant wildlife in the area and we would like to explore further in the future.

Beautiful country and hiking see beautiful scenery and wild flowers during the hike! Just absolutely lovely! A must go....

Love this area it is so peaceful and clear where you can see all the stars, satellites and planes through the night. Nothing better than the peaceful side of AZ and a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city!

What an AWESOME forest. Can't even describe the beauty that is there !!! You can't see the forest cause of the trees, and man is that ever true there !!

Regardless of the time of year it's beautiful. Watch for the weather and be prepared with the right off road vehicle. The clay mud is a B!

Absolutely incredible place to camp. It is dispersed camping, though, so be prepared for the wilderness. No lights, hook ups, bathrooms, running water, electrical....nothing! The main reason why we go. It's dark and quit! Very close to the south rim too. We watched the sun rise and it took us I think 10 min to get there. There are trails and places to go off roading too! Such a great place to visit.
