We LOVED it here. Amazing location. Beautiful, well kept property. Chickens and chicks all over the place which we really enjoyed. We had a big apartment with a fantastic balcony overlooking the grounds, pool, and ocean. The furniture was a bit dated bit we didn't mind that. One thing we didn't like was that the sofa and chairs next to it smelled like someone with bad BO lounged in them all day. The rest was fantastic. Highly recommended. (Yes the roosters will wake you up at 6am or so but we didn't mind that at all since it got us out of bed early to enjoy the day)
The property itself is nice and well maintained. We had a really nice condo close to the entrance. Cleanliness was good, the service provided at the front desk also.||On the downside, the roosters really are a problem. The don’t only go off close to sunrise, some of them go all night. As there is no a/c, we couldn’t sleep with the windows closed but were woken up a couple of times during the night and in the morning by the roosters. |Also, we had some insects in our condo and even a small gecko. As this is a tropical environment, I totally understand where this comes from and it was not a big problem for us. |Further, when being charged over 300$ for cleaning (mandatory fee), I would have expected that that included taking out the trash for us. Instead, we had to do that ourselves. |In addition, there is a lot of homeless around the property, though we never encountered any on. That gave us some sort of an insecure feeling about the environment.
This place is not a resort. It's not even a hotel. These are privately owned apartments with a swimming pool. The reception office is where you pick up and drop off your key that's in an envelope along with a list of things that you're not allowed to do. They do not offer anything at all. My apartment had an ironing board but no iron and when I contacted reception they basically said: "if the owner didn't leave one behind then you're out of luck". So much for that, had to wear wrinkled clothes for my entire stay. You have to pay a $295 cleaning fee upfront but God forbid leave any trash behind, you have to haul your trash with you when you leave. No one will ever come and refresh the apartment during your stay. There is no AC. Appliances are rusty. The beach is littered with dead wood. Needles to say, this was not a relaxing stay at all.
We stayed at Kaha Lani the week of Dec 1st. This was a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom ocean view condo. The property was about 10 mins from the airport making it super convenient. The property grounds are beautiful and you are right on the beach. Just a heads up bring ear plugs or noise canceling headsets. The roosters are up early and crowing at 3-4am. The condo was spacious for our group and it was clean. The condo itself was a little outdated. However, you do have everything you may need such as a coffee maker, hair dryer, pots and pans ect.. The beds were a little hard but the sheets were clean. There is no air conditioning in these units. The ocean breeze was great at night so you really didn’t need it. Not sure about how it may be in the summer months. Parking was ample and the staff on the property were helpful and friendly. They provided a late check out option for us which was great as our flight was not leaving until 9pm. The pool area was clean but the pool did not feel heated. Overall, I would return here it is a great value for a condo on the beach. We were so busy venturing out in Kauai that we really only used the condo to shower and sleep. I would recommend to anyone looking for a budget friendly beach condo with no frills.
This place is awesome, our condos are well appointed. Yes the roosters start up before light, but they die down after it gets light and you can go back to sleep if you are so inclined. Cell phone service isnt good bit your condo will have good wifi. Would defintely come back to this complex.
This is not a resort but think of it as an Airbnb. Apartments are old with no air conditioners. The switches might even have electric leakage. But it has an amazing view with a reasonable price.
The rooms we had were outdated but we enjoyed our oceanfront view. There is a 312 dollar cleaning fee that you pay upon arrival. The rooms we had were equipped had a small kitchen, sofa, chaise lounge chair (which my small child enjoyed sleeping on) and a full size bed. 1.5 bath. Front office is open from 8am-4pm and I had a pleasant experience with the staff. Would consider staying here again.
The drive into this place is like driving to another planet. Then thereâs the view from the restaurant. So beautiful! We came for brunch and it did not disappoint. Food was incredible, too. Not a bad dish in the group. Quiet and relaxing. What else
I stayed in a privately owned, probably the nicest unit here and through airbnb. It was beautifully redecorated, modern amenities, none of the issues others reported. Convenient location but still definitely need a car. There was massive amount of no
This is a great hotel to stay in Kauai. The rooms have everything you need to cook, including a kitchenette, and there are washer and dryers for your convenience. The pool is shared with the adjacent hotel, and it's not far from the downtown area whe
I enjoyed the grounds, the hot tubs were luxurious, although got crowded after dark. The food was high quality at every venue, bar, restaurant, lounge. The service was impeccable. We reserved an economy room, which was nicer than any other hotel we h
Great trip to do with the family! Highly recommend this adventure!! We had a blast and enjoyed the water and caves so much. It was such a fun time and so easy for just about anyone to do. Iâm a bigger guy and had zero issues with this excursion.
Best waffles I've ever had! The waffles have this yummy cinnamon flavor to them! And let's not forget the delicious fruit on top of the waffles! Highly recommend!
They only have one long table for outdoor seating, but this place seems like the locals' favorite. I see many orders multi box lunches. You have to go to the back of the store for the breathtaking view (hopefully we didn't intrude on private properti
This place is amazing. Good food, great atmosphere, and the staff are super friendly. I formally met the cook Naina, my sincerest apologies if I mispelled your name, and she is super sweet. The food was nicely portioned with great flavors. I LOVED th

THE best plate weâve had - I got the garlic shrimp & garlic chili chicken plate and my partner got the special of seared togarashi crusted ahi, both came with a generous portion of rice and the BEST mac salad (not too mayo heavy and great flavors).
The menu options taste as good or better than they look! I had the veal dish with mushroom sauce and a calamari appetizer, and now Iâm one happy guy! Iâve been eating a lot of local fish daily on this island visit, so itâs nice to experience ho
