Food was outstanding, especially loved the potatoes. Eggs were cooked perfectly and husband loved the pork chops and gravy! Music had us jamming in our seats while we waited (Earth, Wind and Fire, etc) Decor was funky and cool. Special shout out to host, “Danger”, waitress, “Spaghetti”, and bartender, “Flamingo” for being extra wonderful!
Ate here for the first time this morning and loved the food. Our waitress was great as well. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage and the banana bread French toast. I can't say anything bad about either of them! The prize of everything wasn't too bad. The only thing I would change is the table space. I went with 3 other people and the table space was limited. Other than that, I would definitely eat here again.
Absolutely the best breakfast experience. We appreciated the kind service and hospitality from all three waitresses. Had conversations with all of them, we truly enjoyed the fact they took the time to acknowledge and speak to us as humans. That’s been lost unfortunately in today’s day and age. Food was also outstanding. We were a party of 6 and everyone was satisfied with their meal. This place is a hidden gem and we’ll definitely be stopping here again when in town.
Teeny tiny with a huge personality mostly helped by super friendly and fun staff, just like Spaghetti! Food is good and truly southern. There is a line up but it moves fairly well. Enjoy
This food changed my LIFE! It was so packed with flavors. The portions were generous too. I had the Pork Chop Benedict and a side of biscuit with gravy. Amazing! Check out my pictures. The only down side is that the space is small so there is always a wait but totally worth it, I promise! You can also have a drink while you wait. I went with the mimosa.
The food and service was excellent. I had the Bananas Foster French Toast and it was the best French Toast I've ever had. So good. My husband had the Monte Cristo French Toast with egg and he loved it. The weak link was the beignet sticks. They were greasy and tasted like funnel cake sticks. Not bad, but they weren't as dense as true beignets. The grits were also just okay, not creamy like true Southern grits with heavy cream added to make them smooth. The waitresses were all great and kept us smiling.
Great experience! The whole wait staff was friendly, very funny and super attentive. Their coffee with the beignet fries with cream cheese and chocolate sauce were outstanding. The breakfast burrito was great and full of flavor.
We really like Jimmy J’s Cafe. This is a tiny French Quarter restaurant that is well known for serving really large portions of very well prepared food. The service is always friendly and attentive and everything I have ever ordered was tasty. Unless we are very hungry we normally order sides or split an order. Highly recommended.

We arrived without a reservation and were seated at the bar. It was a little cramped so reservations should be made. It was so worth it. The Short Rib, Stilton whimsy and creamed leeks were outstanding. The portions were on the small side but so
Sweet Baby Jesus, this place is amazing ð The food is authentic, fresh, and very affordable. I demolished the beet salad, the pierogis, and the nutella & banana blini. Phenomenal food with no attitude.
Wow, blown away by our lunch here. We arrived at 1330 without a reservation and they managed to squeeze us in as the last table before the kitchen closed, it was definitely worth the 45 minute wait. Food was outstanding, everything from the fried tu
What a lovely place for breakfast! It was hard to pass up the lunch menu. It was worth the 8 hour drive just for this delicious food! The Fried Tomato Eggs Benedict was amazing. They had the most surreal biscuit, and I couldn't define it because I h
Y'all, it's been 2 weeks and I still have dreams of these beignets. We had beignets from 4 different places during our vacation, including the most famous of spots, and this was by far the best. We tried the stuffed beignets, peppermint and pecan pie
Went here on a Sunday evening. It was very busy but we had a reservation so we were seated immediately. I noticed a bit later some walk-ins arrived with no reservation and had to wait. I didn't see how long they waited because our food came and I was
