Very beautiful and tranquil place. Well kept. Loads of history. I had to take my elderly dad back to hotel to get some rest, so unfortunately I was not able to take in the trails. Definitely plan to explore next time.
Very enjoyable place to go and think about all the travelers that used this tree as a marking point for trails. This tree is huge and magnificent in shape. Very easy to spot. There are benches around the tree that make it very nice to take a break and think, or read.
Very nice and well maintained park. Signal Tree is a truly unique and ancient tree with a lot of history. The Metro Parks have done an excellent job of preserving it. It is only a short walk from the parking lot.
This U-shaped tree was used by Native Americans to mark the northernmost point of a trail. A 2.4 mile trail around the park is a nice with some beautiful scenery
I've visited every chance I could get. The trails are amazing and the park has always been kept beautiful. It's been almost 10 years since my last visit and I'm ecstatic that it's still standing to this day. Hoping future generations take care and enjoy what past generations have cultivated
Very pleasant space to hide from the strains of traveling. Highly recommend for a quick recharge during a long trip.
Nice park with beautiful trails . Personally my favorite thing to do here is walk down by the river
Nice peaceful, secluded place with unique history. Probably the oldest tree in the area.
