Hyatt Regency Maui Resort And Spa - Resort hotel in Lahaina - 200 Nohea Kai Dr, USA

There’s a lot to like at the Hyatt in Kaanapali. It is located at the far end of the hotel strip and was quieter than hotels on the beach walk.||||The staff from greeting, car, front desk staff, and cleaning crews made us feel comfortable. The lobby, pool and beach are immaculate. Our corner room had an xtra large tv which turned out to be important. We are from Detroit and the NFL Lions had a playoff game.||||We marked the property down for its food. The service at all levels was top shelf. But the food and ambiance had a sour note. We were given silverware from different sets at every meal. The breakfast buffet uses eggs from a carton. Most know they have a much different taste and texture. Lunch by the pool had a skinny menu. Sonz Steakhouse had great appetizers but small portions of choice cut steak. We expected a prime cut option. ||||BUT, the Accent Store was great! All snacks and sandwiches were available. They even had Fritos and distilled water for my wife’s CPAP.||

This was my third time visiting and staying here. We loved it. We enjoyed the pool, restaurants, shops, and it's right on the beach. The luau was amazing too. Another great thing is it's close to the place with all of the stores and restaurants with bars so you can enjoy shopping and see live music. The pool has a waterside which I enjoyed. You can't miss the under cave bar out at the pool. You go through the waterfall to get to it. The food was mostly great apart from a couple things. We ate at all of the restaurants. The sushi place was my least favorite as the menu was limited and over priced. We also waited a very long time for our food there. Other than that we liked everything. The Breakfast buffet was delicious. ||We were lucky enough to see this beautiful place before they had the fires. It was heartbreaking to hear about it. The people are amazing and it's such a magical place my prayers go out to the people of Maui.

We loved our vacation here. The property is beautiful. The staff is awesome. It is the perfect place to go rest and relax. You are so close to the beach. Have a wonderful pool. And great restaurants on property. We can’t wait to go back and spend more time here.

We are Hyatt enthusiasts and long time Globalists and the Hyatt Regency Maui met or exceeded our expectations in all areas. Our group of 7 was upgraded to 2 ocean front rooms. The service from check in to departure was top notch. The valet parking was friendly and efficient. Owen, bell captain, helped with our bags and with recommendations for where to snorkel. Penguin feeding, Lei making, and hula lessons were guys with the kids and adults alike. Pools were really nice, although some areas are showing their age. The breakfast in Swan Court was really good and included for us since the Regency Club was closed. It was great to see the Hyatt using their facilities to support the fire victims. Regency Club was being used by Red Cross for fire victim response and one of the convention rooms was used for meal distribution. Also, many of the rooms were being used by people displaced by the August fires. We can't wait to return to Hyatt Regency Maui.

The rooms were very large, and the bed was so comfortable! The grounds were immaculate and every single staff member was extremely polite, helpful, and thankful we were there. The Aloha was definitely felt here. Amazing resort, can't wait to come back again!

My now husband and I spent 4 out of our 7 day honeymoon in Maui, and we stayed here. The staff were helpful, kind, and provided exceeding customer service. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer. If we ever come back, we plan on staying here.

It's all stated in the previous comments. Faced discrimination at the steak house. Whirl pool too hot and didn't work properly. Tried to add on a very expensive tip at the spa. Over all we enjoyed but these areas need to be addressed.||

I cannot say enough good things about this resort. It is overflowing with Aloha and they really appreciated that we were there. The beds are super comfy, the rooms are spacious and well appointed. They have an amazing pool. And we had the best filet mignon at the Sonz Restaurant there that we have ever had. If you are looking for top notch A+ facilities, this is your place!!
