Horseshoe Las Vegas - Featured Reviews (32165)
This is the third time staying at this property and (previously Bally’s) the first under the Horseshoe name. This was a friends trip so we had a 2 queen with fountain view for 5 nights. The location is wonderful; its center strip and close to many attractions and restaurants. As it being 3 women on this trip we all felt safe as well. |However, the property needs a fresh face. Our room was decently clean but dusty in spots and needing a fresh coat of paint. The windows were dirty which made viewing the fountain kinda hard. Disappointed with restaurant choices as well. The bazaar in the front seems a little dead now. But overall we had a good stay. The hotel casino employees were all friendly and helpful when we needed something(I’m from the south so being friendly is dealbreaker for me). The pool is nice, but basic, and we enjoyed hanging out a couple days there, bartenders were great. We also paid for the “ VIP experience” but I’m still not sure what that means so nice I didn’t receive one vip thing besides early check in which was charged 3 times to my card. I love the location of Horseshoe, employees ,and always have a lot of fun there; I just wish it were a little more lively and hoping they give it a fresh look.
Hotel is nice. Monorail stop is very handy to get up and down the strip to various attractions. Food was ok. Food court was a little disappointing. Of course everything was really expensive - it's Vegas! ||Had issues with housekeeping. Didn't come 2 days in a row even though we didn't have the "occupied" placard out and specifically called and told them we were leaving the hotel for a few hours and asked them to come clean. Got back and they had not come and we had to call just to get towels so we could shower. ||One other thing: don't fall for the Bellaggio fountain room upgrade. $18 extra per night and no fountain view. Paris hotel has built a tower that blocks it (pictures attached). When I questioned it I was told I got the room I requested. Disappointed in Horseshoe. They could clearly do better!
We had a great time. Everything was great. Staff was friendly. Location was great. The room was very nice. Variety of restaurants was great. AC system was excellent in this scorching heat. We all liked this hotel & would stay here again. We felt very safe in this hotel.
When we checked in at 10p we were told that our room was not ready. They wanted us to switch rooms for a night then switch back. I suggested we just stay in the other room (even though it was not the room we wanted) so we didn't have to move twice. We were staying for 5 days. On day 2 we came back to the room being 100 degrees. Maintenance was sent up and he was able to get it working. The next day same thing. Come back to the room and it was at least a 100 degrees. Called the desk and was told to come stand in line for 2 hours to again switch rooms. All in all had to switch rooms twice and would have been 3 times had we did what they wanted in the begining. Very nice location but prob won't return. Felt as if they didn't even care after all the money we spent there.
Overall fine, with larger than usual rooms, a nice bathroom, and a refrigerator with wet bar (2 queen studio, high roller view). Nice that it's connected to Paris, which has a bigger and more attractive casino and stores/restaurants. Pool was pretty good, but no shade or wait service. Issues: huge lines at check-in (like 1-2 hours long), and the kiosks that should speed that up didn't seem to work. Our room never got cooler than around 75 degrees. Lumpy pillows. Slow elevators because only 2-3 out of 10 seemed to work. No coffee in room-- very pricey in hotel. Blackjack tables at least $15 minimum but usually $25 with a 6:5 payout for blackjacks. We played at other casinos instead, including local favorite Ellis Island which was about a 7 min walk out the back. Would probably not stay here again.
I was attending a 4-day convention here, so the Horseshoe was my natural choice for convenience. I shared a room on the sixth floor with another convention attendee. The double room was spacious enough for two. Had separate desks and a bench at the end of each bed. Everything was very clean and comfortable. A few dings on the cabinetry but no big deal. Bathroom was nice with good water pressure. Housekeeping was slow the first morning so we just asked them for some towels which was all we needed, and then the second day we had full service. Enjoyed a chair massage at a business in the lower level of the hotel. I also used the fitness center, which was quite nice and had a good selection of free weights. Check-in process was a bit long. Easy checkout. Overall, it was a pleasant stay at a good Strip location. And we had a good view of the Sphere from the 6th floor elevator area. |Convention room was huge. We had two buffet meals included, plus welcome appetizers, and the quality of the food was fabulous. Good service too.
Upgraded rooms, upgraded hotel. There is a dramatic difference in this hotel and it is dramatically good. The rooms have been updated and are much nicer and cleaner than before. The downstairs lobby/casino area is refreshingly more accessible, and the bar staff and dealers are much nicer as well. We visited the Steakhouse and it was amazing. We sat up at the bar ordered jumbo shrimp for an appetizer steak with lump crab for an entrée , the lobster bisque was so amazing! Checking out was so nice, and I was able to do it via text!
This was my 2nd time staying at the Horseshoe, again had a great experience! Staff were pleasant and helpful, room was perfect. The hotel is just the right size so it never felt overly crowded. The pool is by far my favorite part of this hotel. The bartender Ace was awesome. Always recommended great drinks & was very nice! I will say I was disappointed to hear they are closing the pool down earlier this season, I would have been very disappointed if I went and was told the pool was only open 2 days a week. So hopefully this is only temporary because I do plan on coming back and would love for the pool to be open at Horseshoe!
This is one of the nicest hotels in the strip. The botanical garden area is lavishly decorated and looks amazing for the Chinese Lunar New Year! The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It was very quiet so we slept very well. The pools we

This is my go-to resort in Las Vegas. The rooms are large and well maintained. It has the best pool complex in the city. The food options are endless. It is connected to two other MGM properties which allows easy access to many different types of ent
