Historic Fort Steuben - History museum in Steubenville - 120 S 3rd St, USA

Am adorable town to visit for Christmas. Each nutcracker is a different theme and sponsored by a local business. There are local shops and vendors.

This place is awesome and it gives people things to do while teaching them the historical facts about the fort also they put on a lot of fun and good activities for the public also went here tonight with the wifey and the baby had a blast even though it was only 33°, we had fun

What a surprise. Tucked into downtown Steubenville along the Ohio River, it offers a detailed look into the founding of the Ohio Valley communities that was a part of the survey by George Washington. The reconstructed buildings contain a wealth of period history. A person could spend hours absorbing the history contained at this site. It is handicapped accessible with abundant parking.

Definitely worth a stop. This is not the original fort it’s a rebuild but is on the same spot at as the original Fort. The folks working there are super nice. Gave us a deal to get in since we only had about 20 min before closing. The set up for each cabin was interesting but not as good as I had hoped. They are doing an archeological dig in the middle of the fort. It would be interesting to see all of the data on what they are finding. Worth a stop! Plenty of parking and restrooms on site.

Went there to see the nutcrackers. They were great! We also enjoyed walking through the museum. All of the personnel in the museum were super friendly.

Loved it since they put the nutcrackers in town. Took my 8 yr old grandson and we both enjoyed walking around. Will definately go next year too!

A great tour, knowledgeable staff, interesting historical artifacts and they're very military friendly. Go see it!

Loved visiting the fort! All the hewn wood work, the examples of the history. It was a great historical visit!
