Hilton Pensacola Beach - Hotel in Pensacola Beach - 12 Via De Luna Dr, USA

Beautiful lobby decorated for holidays and very attentive check in - supposedly got an upgrade but it appeared to be same type of room we booked. Were offered lots of bottled water at check in and later found out why - at first we figured wow this is so nice usually they only give us 2. The first room had a beautiful beach view but definitely had some cosmetic issues as did our second room (in need of painting/updating/general upkeep and maintenance) - I assume we were not in newly renovated rooms. Watching tv and a large bug crawled across the wall - we were able to move to a room above. After moving rooms we noticed the water was not working and when we tried to call down the phone did not work. So went down to report and was given a letter stating water would be off for maintenance so that’s why we were offered multiple waters but we did not receive the notice upon checkin. Decided to grab a snack from venting machine and the chips we got were over 2 months out of date - chocolate and jerky looked melted in wrappers as sun hits the vending rooms. Showed to front desk but they said they could not refund money so gave us a voucher for free beer wine or Starbucks which was super nice - contacted the vending company and sent pics but no reply. My concern is they need to check dates and rotate the stock for the inflated prices. Overall quiet rooms, Starbucks employees were super nice and the drinks and treats are excellent. No issues with parking as it was off season. Nice pool area and beach front views.

The location is fantastic. The pool is beautiful and the hotel is right on the ocean. The lobby is clean and well taken care of. However, the rooms are old, dirty, and need some TLC. I cleaned my own window so I could have a better view of the ocean. A picture of their “fresh remote” is posted. I cleaned it for them before using. I also did not have hot water, just slightly warm showers. I had to take the back off the toilet after each flush to “unstuck” the chain; otherwise, it just kept running.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We weren't impressed the first time, but they said they did renovations so we figured we would try it again. I was told the outdoor pool was heated and the rooms in the main building had been updated. Nope. The outdoor pool was not heated, one of the main things we planned to do while at the hotel. We sat in the hot tub that was just warm, not hot. My parents had a room on the 5th floor in the main building. The room was rough, definitely not updated. The front desk lady was very friendly but one person at the front desk caused some delays. People waited for quite awhile behind me while I checked into our 3 rooms.||||We had 2 - 2 queen, sofa, bunk bed rooms in the tower. The rooms are really starting to show their age. The view and location are great. I just wish they actually heated the outdoor pool and did a little maintenance.||||We more than likely will never stay here again. We like to spend a lot of time in the pool but when it is not heated, it does not make for a fun time.

We were in town for a wedding. The wedding party stayed at Hilton Pensacola Beach. The bride & groom had the suite on the 17th floor of the tower, which was beautiful & amazing with so much space & an incredible view. There was a full kitchen in their sweet, along with several rooms and multiple bathrooms. We had plenty of space to get ready in there. Our room was also very accommodating, the staff was incredible & knowledgeable. The location is perfect as it is right on the beach & next to several popular businesses within walking distance. Starbucks in the lobby is a huge bonus. The event area & the wedding set-up was gorgeous & efficient. I don't think her wedding could've gone any better. Ten out of ten.

We have stayed here before, but after the renovation, and for this time of the year, we were very pleased with everything. The pools were heated and fun. Indoor and outdoor. Always easy access to the beach. The room with the balcony was comfortable and had a beautiful view.especially impressed with the shower, strong, but didn’t take our skin off. Had everything we needed!!

A+ experience! More amenities than comparable priced hotels. My kiddos have had a blast, and seeing their faces light up made us extend our stay. The entire staff has been friendly and welcoming. We haven't had much of a reason to leave as everything needed is here or nearby. We appreciate our stay and look forward to coming back.

Checked in on a Wednesday night, stayed through Saturday morning. At check in Kacy asked about an upgrade. I mentioned if we could get a king bed instead of 2 queens for the same price, we would take it. Kacy worked his magic and gave us a “surprise” upgrade. He escorted us to our room, not telling us what room or what upgrade we were given. He opened the door into a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom suite with full kitchen, dinning room, living room, 2 balconies, washer/dryer. We were shocked and amazed by the upgrade and thanked him several times. He was very nice and friendly. The suite was amazing with a really great view. Everyone working was very pleasant and friendly. The room was clean, and spacious. An additional perk, they have a Starbucks down in the lobby so I didn’t have to stop somewhere else and get coffee/tea.

Came back this for 2nd year running and would definitely recommend, in spite of my couple of niggles. ||PROS:|• OVERALL: Nice hotel, you feel special walking the main areas. We stayed both times in the tower where you pay extra to get better views, and the two elevators were always running, quick to pick you up and get us there when needed. |• ROOMS: Both times, we stayed in a Junior Suite w/Deluxe View, which I’d refer to as oceanfront, which although is technically perpendicular to the beach, you have a fantastic view up the beach and over the pool, and what’s best is, you get a dead-on view of the sunset :) The beds were comfy, the amenities just fine, and the coffee not bad at all, better than the Starbucks downstairs/in the restaurant. Love the curved balcony with privacy on both sides. |• SERVICE: Par for the course with Hilton brand, their service has been top notch every time. Big shout out to Shannon for going the truly extra mile on a usb cord for us : ) |CONS:|• MUSIC FROM POOL: Each to his own, but we like to hear the ocean waves, seagulls, and nice breeze at the beach, not the party music wafting up 6 floors from the pool area. At least they did turn it down when I called the one day to complain, but the next day I had to call again, they didn’t pick up or change it when I left a vm. |• BREAKFAST OVERPRICED: Par for hotel food I suppose but dang, for $15 just for an omelette with no sides whatsoever or coffee, it just wasn’t that great or filling. To get anything add’l, you need to basically pay $24 for buffet where you get tired, square, brown, dry potatoes and some other fixings. All in all, like I said, par for the course but sure would like better out of a higher end brand like Hilton. |
