Loved everything about this hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The room was very spacious. Everyone was friendly and super helpful. The lady (I didn't get her name) who called out orders during breakfast reminded me of my grandmother. The fitness center was well stocked with weights but a little on the hot side and small. The hotel was an ideal location, close to restaurants and shopping. Definitely will return if in the area.
Clean and comfortable rooms. I love the layouts of the suites. I was able to use the app to check in & pick my room before arriving. However, the blinds were not working in my original room, so I had to be moved to another room which did not face the front as I prefer. The front desk staff quickly brought up card keys for the new room. In this room, the front TV was stuck in the guide channel and was unresponsive to the remote. Knowing that no maintenance was on-site, we opted to just deal with it for the night, rather than changing rooms again. Should be part of the room housekeeping room checks, to make sure everything is operational.
Enjoyed stay at this recently renovated hotel, it’s been updated since my last stay here 4 years ago. Beds very comfortable, room very clean. Only hiccup was a non working electric blind in assigned room, front desk quickly gave us another room as soon as we reported the broken blind. A shout out to the breakfast staff, who were lovely and very helpful, quick and service oriented, likewise the bar staff in the evening. Hotel is nicely located to be in proximity to downtown and Colonial Williamsburg. We will stay here again!
This hotel just recently opened a restaurant in the evening. I have had the pleasure of eating here and the food is absolutely delicious! The quality and quantity is amazing! I personally overheard others who were dining there raving about their new Executive Chef, one was speaking to their associate about wanting to stealing them for themselves. I was fortunate enough to meet the Chef and he was as pleasant as his food. If you stay at this hotel or are a local here in the city, do not hesitate to drop in and eat some good food! Shout out to Executive Chef Chad and shout out to Hilton!
Our room was clean, but we did have a problem with our shower door not staying closed. Had to use a washcloth to block it. We told the front desk, but it wasn't fixed. Other than that the staff was very friendly and helpful at breakfast time. Had very good experience with the chef in the kitchen, great breakfast each day.
I came here for a quick little mini vacation, the hotel is updated and great! It smells brand new and the rooms and beds are fantastic. However, that isn't enough to warrant a rating higher than 1 star. We brought our dog, a very calm dog, well behaved with a bit of anxiety much like any dog in a new unknown environment. This hotel claims to be pet friendly, thus taking the risk that comes with pets being "welcomed". We got a phone call saying our dog was barking and if we could come back, while we were in the middle of dinner. Because we're not horrible people, of course we came back. We get back and walk up to our room, and we listen for a bit heard nothing from our dog. We then jiggled the knob aggressively to illicit a reaction, which then caused our dog to bark in response. We enter the room immediately to calm him and not even two minutes after entering the room, I receive another phone call stating that people are requesting refunds as a result of our dog. I went down to request a refund for the night and to cancel tomorrow night, which they decline to refund but did cancel our second night. (But they were using other people wanting a refund as a threat against us?) I questioned what would have happened if we were at a spot where we could not leave and come back to check on the dog? We ended up taking our dog out of the hotel for the rest of the night to come to minigolf and dinner with us, since we did not feel safe that our dog would be unharmed in the hotel.
We have stayed here before. It is on Richmond Rd. close to a few of the restaurants we like and not far from Colonial Williamsburg. Our room was very clean and nice. We did have a problem with our key cards. It took 3 times to get them both to work. Breakfast buffet is $14.99 a person. As Hilton Honors members, we got $20 a day towards food. So our breakfasts wound up costing $8. The guy who made the omlets/eggs was wonderful. I have never had such a big omlet in my life. He said he knows that people don't want to pay for breakfast so he makes the best her can to try and keep them happy. You can put whatever you want in them. The usual biscuits, bread, muffins, oatmeal, potatoes and bacon or sausage. There are putting in a bar in the lobby across from the breakfast area. People were very nice.
The hotel was really well kept and the rooms were pretty. Its in a great location. I experienced great customer service. There were 3 of us staying and we only had 2 breakfast vouchers, but they let all of us eat for free. My only complaints are that the hot tub was broken during our stay and the milk at breakfast was spoiled.

Their outdoor decor for Christmas was very nice. We ate Christmas dinner here. We were seated in their event room. They should invest in new tables, the folding table had cross bars on two side that made it rather uncomfortable for two of 4 people. F
