HAUM Yoga - Mission - Yoga studio in San Francisco - 2973 16th St 5th Floor, USA

Entering HAUM, I experienced love at first sight. The expansive and beautiful space set the perfect atmosphere for yoga and meditation, with impeccable lighting, decorations, and immaculate vibes. The stunning views of downtown SF through the large windows added to the perfection. The instructor, David, was fantastic — easy to follow with a calming voice. I particularly valued David’s encouragement to relax, feel at home, and be true to ourselves during the session. There's no place I'd rather start my week. HAUM sets the right tone for an awesome week, making it the perfect beginning for positive vibes and energy.

I’ve taken 2 classes, both slower paced but absolutely incredible. Slow Medicine Flow and Flow + Restore. They are great if you need a slow, meditative yoga that is nourishing and healing. I slept like a baby every time I take these classes. The instructors are friendly, approachable and clear in their directions. Other pluses outside the class itself: Haum is a beautiful, clean , bright and airy studio. It’s super accessible, right next to 16th street Bart. So far, the classes have had space and not super crowded like other studios. I’ll definitely be making Haum my home.

A beautiful studio with a mix of gorgeous hipsters and super friendly staff. And plants! Classes are very large, instructors are creative and offer options for the challenging poses. Due to the large size, there is very little individualized attention. The front row featured the shirtless crowd, and while the instructor insists it's not a competition, you feel a competitive vibe in the room. At some point the live music journey sounded like sirens or a lighthouse foghorn, neither of which I found relaxing. Despite the above, I will return as instructors are creative and the place is special.

The number of stairs you climb is worth the view, super kind staff, and outstanding teachers you'll encounter at the top. Located in the old YTTP studio, HAUM has done a beautiful job revamping the space — providing a detailed list of accoutrements. From the lighting to the flora to the abundance of yogi tools, the room has everything you need to ramp up, wind down, and be grateful you made it to class.

This was my first time visiting a HAUM studio and I had a great experience - and what an amazing view! The staff was very welcoming and helpful for my first visit. Rebecca's class was just what I needed that day for a nice flow. About one week after the class the HAUM team called me up to inquire about my experience overall, which was a nice surprise. I really appreciate the community building aspect of this studio and I will certainly return.

First, it may be the most beautiful yoga studio I've ever practiced in. Also, love the energy, people, teachers, and their values. I've tried almost all and this is my favorite San Francisco studio.

HAUM is truly my favorite studio in the city, and brought back the importance of taking yoga classes in person for me whenever I can, instead of online. The teachers are all incredible, and the studio in the Mission specifically is a magical place. There are plants everywhere and beautiful views of the city through the many windows. It's rare to find a studio with so much natural light! Also absolutely love the no mirrors in studio - helps you to connect with yourself intimately without so much judgment.

what a dreamy space to practice yoga in! I could immediately tell that this place has a strong interior in addition to a gorgeous interior. I loved the unique flow of the vinyasa class. My only qualm was the use of a microphone by the teacher, which always feels a bit too simulation robot-zone for my yoga tastes but I will say I couldn't really even tell there was a mic sitting at the front and the mic makes sense in such a large space, so - forgiven!
