Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Featured Reviews (7043)
Nice casino but they only had a few machines I like. I like the penny reel machines with 9 lines. But we only found 3. If I wanted to play quarters and dollars I would. Penny machines that cost that much to play aren't any fun.
Some interesting rock exhibits.
One of the worst casinos I've ever played at..absolutely nothing impressive about gambling there.. i think i would drive the distance to another casino..the smell is smoke is HORRIBLE.what I don't understand is why the local bars can't smoking but yet the casino does, they r no different. Thank u for the 2nd hand smoke in your establishment. As far as eating there awhile back we thought we would have lunch, the Burger was alittle dry tasting which turns me away
Overall, the hotel lobby and room were nicely appointed. That being said, I was not pleased with other aspects of my stay. For the price I paid for the room, I would expect the two small bottles of water in the bathroom would be complementary instead of charging $4.00 a bottle as well as the two smaller bottles of wine on the desk charging whatever; the print was so small, I couldn't read it. I turned on the TV and there were about 15 to 20 local channels that didn't peak my interest, so I went to the movie channel and discovered that all movies, including older ones, would be $20.00 each if I watched them. Decided to read a book that I brought along, but the lighting was like "mood lighting" and a little too dim for reading. And don't get me started on the parking. There were 5 spots reserved for valey parking, 4 spots for 15-minute parking only, 6 spots reserved for IRC parking, which left very limited spots for the hotel guests. When I inquired about the limited parking, the response was "oh, you can park across the street in the open lot." Yes, that's exactly what I wanted to do; risk my life trying to cross five lanes of traffic and carrying whatever I was bringing back to my room. Very disappointing!
Fun clean place. Nice outdoor pool. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Gambling was ok, but the variety of the machines and newness is lacking. Have visited several times and the machines are the same. Kind of boring.
Rooms were nice. Ate dinner at Main and Abbey. Cold, over salted food. Been to many casinos across the country. This one had the worst play back I have ever encountered. On to the next casino. We will mark this one off the list, no need to return.
The atmosphere was good, not really busy for a Friday night. Security tight, husband went down to lobby to get a luggage cart and when his card didn't work on the elevator the front desk had me come down to "get him" After being there two days and him coming off the elevator the front desk girl couldn't get him a new card or use hers to send him back up? Then my deposit will be held for a week to ten days, ridiculous! Won't stay at Hard Rock again, it was worth a try...kind of
Wow...just wow. Only 54 rooms, we did the rock star one...way way worth it !! Pay outs were good too...just know when to stop. Room was a little noisy...you could hear the music from the pool...which was constantly on ALL NIGHT !! So if you are a light sleeper...get the top floor.
We were travelling and because the hotel was close to the highway we stopped. It is a fun place, lots to look at, a casino to play in. The rooms are cool and a little unusual.
My one gripe, we had the bad luck to pick the night when the restaurant was closed. Our only option in the hotel was fast food in the casino. There are restaurants around the area, but we were sick of driving. I still recommend staying if you can.
We had to spend the night unexpectedly due to some bad weather while traveling. I saw this hotel had similar/identical rates to other hotels nearby but had slightly larger rooms, so we booked a couple rooms and hoped for the best. Let me tell youâ¦t
Our family usually stays at a different Hilton hotel when in Sioux City, but this time we decided to try this hotel instead. Hilton hotels are usually without any serious complaints and this is no exception.
If traveling with children, this hotel is
Anne was absolutely amazing from the first time I spoke with her, through the duration of the 8 weeks. When my Daughter was awarded a Summer Internship and we were responsible for finding housing for 8 weeks in Iowa, to say I felt over whelmed was a
I've never had a bad experience there from my early childhood memory when it was a movie theater, to musicals, to concerts, and the symphony. The staff are very professional and it's even nice to come back and see their familiar face!
I was in town for a month, Abby and the team have created an amazing environment that is friendly, motivating, and challenging. Every coach I worked with was focused on form and safety. Itâs been more than a year since I had last done CrossFit, Coa
One of the best coffee shops in Sioux City and probably the oldest in the area. Worth checking it out. Amazing food made with fresh ingredients. A big range of signature coffee drinks, cold brew, iced coffee, iced tea, Vietnamese coffee, you name it,
