The rental in this community is very good, walk to beach in just 5 minutes, private beach has enough place for you to select a favorite spot. Hermit crab is everywhere, this is the most amazing experience for kid in this spring break vacation. Sunset is beautiful even there are heavy cloud. Vacation is the time to enjoy sleep, so no sunrise scene was caught :D . There are swimming pool, tennis courts, beach volleyball and basketball court as well, mini golf court is a must to have in this area.
The guards are very nice and friendly. Quick in and outs. Have not had any issues on the whole trip getting to our beach house. The place is always clean and the beachs are nice as well. The pool area is clean and always nice. Bring bug spary though because they can get really bad at times. But all in all its a great vacation spot.
Nice place. Nice pools. Mosquitos are horrible. Like so bad that you need bug spray just to sit on the screened in porch. But views are nice. Beach is clean. If you want to find shells and shark teeth go to Hunting Island and walk where the waves fades out on the beach.
Beautiful gated community with private beach everyone was so friendly and the only thing you had to worry about is if it was low tide you had to walk about 2 football fields to get to the water. Also with near by military it was awesome to see jets and choppers daily right over your head. Fun time would recommend.
Just a beautiful beach. Private not crowded in a gated community. Fabulous sun rises. Big tide change's making for great exploring.

Harbor Island is a gated community located on a gorgeous, rugged, wild stretch of Southern coastal perfection. The community isn't pretentious and rental rates are still affordable.
Awesome place. Tons of wildlife. A large beach that be o.es hugs at low tide. Quiet and peacful. Well worth the trip from Atlanta.
Only place you should stay if you are visiting Hunting Island. TWO beautiful, amazing beaches.
