A beautiful resort. Extremely quiet in January with very few guests. Our first floor 2/2 unit was very nice and clean. We enjoyed visiting Historic Jamestowne and Colonial Williamsburg near by. The staff were very nice. We would visit again!
We had a wonderful time in Williamsburg. The staff at this establishment are very helpful. Because we were there in the winter we could not experience many of the resort's amenities, but did enjoy the craft projects a lot. The units are roomy, but need to some updating and curating. When we called maintenance about the disposal and such, they came almost immediately. We would have liked it better if we had never needed to call maintenance.
I left my Plush Pink Victoria Secrets Robe at the resort. I went to take a shower and forgot it behind the door. I called the same day that we left to let them know I left my robe behind the door. They sent security to go look, and they stated there was no robe. I told them them I LEFT MY ROBE AT THE ROOM. If it’s not there, that means whomever cleaned the room, took the robe. It was a very clean and warm robe. The robe cost $60. I was livid. I filled out some report online that I was told to fill out, well I still haven’t heard a word from them. This particular robe meant a lot to me. The last call was yesterday, and I spoke with the housekeeping supervisor he stated he would ask the security officers and he was going to speak with the housekeeper who had that room and call me back. Well………needless to say, I NEVER heard back from him. I would NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. The workers Are thieves. It should have been reported that a robe was left. Nothing was reported, the robe was no where to be found. It’s been a whole week. Greensprings resort doesn’t seem to care about there paying customers. Evidently, they do not have any communication skills. I am very disappointed.
I came here for a family vacation. I’m writing this review at 1:30 in the morning because my neighbors are having a huge party. I have kids trying to sleep… And we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow. Also, they make you pay a “soft deposit” of $200 and tell you that you will get it back when you check out, but You actually don’t get it back for 7 to 10 business days. I’ve never stayed at any other resort or hotel that does this. I wish I could say that I had a better experience here. My stay here has been a huge regret. I used to love this place
We had a wonderful time. Employees at front desk were very friendly and courteous. Explained everything about the resort, handed out activity schedule, parking passes and map of resort. Buildings pretty secure. Ilike the balcony area, just enough room for a place to enjoy some coffee. There's a fireplace, but for looks only, but still pretty cool. Great kitchen space and dining area. They provided some dish soap, dishwasher tabs, pots and pans, silverware, dishes, garbage bags, some laundry soap for a load, etc... however, if you're staying several days, i suggest picking up small amounts of these things, including some toilet paper. They do need some help with trash pick up, lots of trash at dumpsters that accumulated, but it could have been from the holidays. Grounds looked nice and kept up. Unfortunately, we weren't able to use the pool, very cold out, but next time for sure. The resort is located well off the main drag of Colonial Williamsburg, which is nice. Nice place for families.
The rooms are very dirty and run down. I’m side house keeping staff clean the major stuff every time they turn over but light switches, walls, shower pan are all caked with dirt. The room rate is very deceptive. I was charged $59 per night through Priceline with a $60 resort fee. Then when checking in they wouldn’t give me a room key until I paid another $54 in additional resort fees. This is all for a gym and pool that is provided for free at any other place. I guess they try to sell these same units as a time share. My advice to management is to make this be a place people don’t want to leave if you want them to buy a timeshare. I personally can’t wait to leave. The only positive is the rooms are very big and basically a 2 bedroom apartment.
The rooms are awesome with up to date styling and comfort. The resort had activities to do throughout the day and everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. Our trip was for the Grand Illumination at Williamsburg and we were very close and didn't have to drive too far to reach our destination. I would definitely stay here again.
Well the resort didn't meet expectations...Not sure if I blame lies on the owner or the resort. So we rented side by side units which was awesome. We arrived and one of the units smelled like pure cigarette smoke. They came and sprayed and left a air filter that we ran the entire trip. We ended up having to buy incense to cover the odor. The sofa beds did not have bedding so we had to call for that. The bathrooms were not stocked with enough towels or wash cloths. For example one bathroom had 2 wash cloths, 2 towels, and 1 bath mat. Which led to us having to do laundry every night. There was only 1 packet of washing powder so we had to go out and purchase more. There was only one roll of toilet paper which was the one being used. No extras. We ended up having to purchase more. No complimentary things like soap, shampoo etc. I thought these things were standard. No extra paper towels for the kitchen, so we had to go out and purchase more. The curtains in the bedrooms did not completely cover the windows so in the morning the sunlight showed through. The furniture could have used a good cleaning or upgrade. The 2 units were big enough for our family of 13 and we enjoyed our time.

Met with Park Jenkins who was an amazing salesman. He was knowledgeable and fun. He made the 2 hour presentation worthwhile. The only reason we didn't buy was because we already have Wyndham. Check them out. It's worth your time.
