An active and bustling community-run center with a variety of classes and resources available for all ages. Also has a great wealth of museum and historical information about Greenbelt that is definitely worth checking out.
This place is AMAZING! There are programs here for literally everyone. Arts, exercise, seniors, children, activism, etc.
The Greenbelt community center is great! The building is dated but the heart behind it is tremendous. They offer a full slate of classes for people of all ages. They have gym and music classes for babies, art and dance classes for toddlers, etc. People literally come from neighboring towns to enroll for them. They are very affordable and reasonable. I routinely sign up for 2-3 classes each rotation. The workers are very friendly and helpful. They rent out rooms for parties. They are inexpensive and have good customer service. We had my daughter's first birthday there and loved it. As an extension, they have a youth center around the back (separate building.) Nearby, there is a play ground and a skate park. Definitely check out the services and classes that offer!
Old Greenbelt Is a historic place with lots of great things you can do..nice quaint eating places,beautiful lake,public library with a huge tree in front of it with lots of shade,the community center always has something going on especially the arts section.

I know a Beautiful 85yr old Irish Queen 👑 that went to school there before it turned into this INCREDIBLE Community Center with Arts & Crafts, senior fit exercise class! There are so many wonderful things happening at the Greenbelt Community Center! I'M A GREENBELTER AND I LOVE IT💖
An excellent place for meetings, a gymnasium for basketball, volleyball and more. Many meeting rooms, a kitchen and much more. I joined a meeting in the evening in February 2020, and have been in meetings here regularly for 2 to 3 years.
Well maintained building, used to be a school. Now it's staffed efficiently, includes great spaces for rent and even the entire basketball court can be rented for a nice kid's birthday party.
