I wasn’t going to book because of the 50/50 rating. I took the chance, and glad I did. Room was clean and has space for everyone. Pools were clean, staff was nice and helpful. Check in was easy and quick. Kids loved it we usually go dunes resort, but this was a last minute booking and they were sold out. the experience here was good enough. The only thing that I didn’t like was the room is basically in the parking lot, but it’s a good thing and at the same as bad. Good- you can access your car quick. Bad- you can hear everyone else access their car lol.

We stayed at this property for 7 nights and 8 days and the whole time we were there we did not receive housekeeping. They brought us towels and maybe took out our trash 2 days but other than that we did not receive services. Half the time when they brought towels they would only bring 3 and no wash rags. I was told you had to request housekeeping services 24 hours in advance and I did but still not receive services. My husband and I were the ones bagging up trash, changing our sheets and sweeping the floors because of sand from the beach. We had small children so getting sand in the room was inevitable. We also paid a hefty fee when booking for housekeeping services specifically. The pool was okay except the bricks became slippery after they were wet for so long. The lazy river was so shallow that you would drag on the bottom and cut up your knees. They did not have the correct amount of water in it. The rooms were clean when we checked in and the air conditioning worked good. The hallways are dirty as they have carpet in them. The kids enjoyed the submarine and water slide areas. It was hard to finding parking in the parking garage area on our floor and if you have a larger vehicle you can’t park past the 2nd floor. I would not recommend staying at this facility. And do not plan on staying there again.

100% should be named Grande Cayman Last Resort. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Please do not waste your money. We stayed for a week and when arriving, our first room had dings all over the walls, canvases on the wall literally falling apart, the room was dirty, trim was falling off of the wall, the locks to the balcony doors did not lock properly (I have small children so this was highly concerning) and the doors in the room did not shut. Going into my second room, the A/C stopped working and the main door did not fully shut. It’s almost as if there’s something wrong with every single condo. We were stuck in an elevator and the elevators kept breaking. When bringing it up to the service desk, I was told that they put in a work order and that’s all they can do. It even escalated to the fire department coming out due to someone being trapped. The staff is rude and inconsiderate and they do not care about their guests. The only thing nice was the location.

We stayed at Grand Cayman during hurricane Debby. When checking in I was told they didn't have my reservation even though they sent me a welcome email that morning. That was eventually resolved. The first day was just rainy and cloudy but we were able to use the pools and the beach. By the second day everything was closed and stayed closed for the remainder of the trip. On the final day of a 5 day stay the hurricane had passed and all the local pools had reopened but not Grand Cayman. The kids were crying in the room wondering why they couldn't swim when everyone else was all around us. The room itself was very nice and we got to see a lot of it. The parking was very nice close top the room. The maid service was basically replacing towels and taking out garbage but they were helpful and pleasant. It would have been nice to be there when the weather was nice to give a more accurate review. I did ask the manager if it was possible to get a partial credit or a voucher to come back when their facilities were open but I was basically ignored. it is a nice facility for the budget minded but if there is inclement weather cancelling is the best option.

The resort itself is very nice. The parking is very tight trying to squeeze everyone in as possible. The amenities are fantastic. The employees working restaurants are very friendly and helpful, however the people working in hospitality could use a real course refresher. We got into our room and realized we were 1 pool band short, waited in an impossibly long line to get helped and the woman at the front desk immediately met us with attitude because we tried to go to the corner instead of bumping into other guests telling us we couldn’t do that, not sure why it mattered as she was at the end of the counter and we ended up in the same place regardless. When I said we were short 1 pool band may we please have one, she rolled her eyes and asked if we were airbnb renters or rented through the resort. I said airbnb, but our hosts advised us to go ask. She again rolled her eyes at us and opened her drawer to begrudgingly give us another pool band. The next morning my husband was trying to look for beach access and was met by another employee who asked if he was looking for beach access very hatefully. He said he was not trying to enter the pool area at all looking out through the garage area. The employee then told him that beach access was on either side of the building just to look for the white sand, can’t miss it in a very rude and demeaning manner. We paid money to be here as much as everyone else, but we will not be coming back to this resort with the lack of common customer service.

Our stay was OK. I feel like it was not a good value for what we paid. The room was nice though. We paid for an Oceanfront and I guess technically it was but our view was the back of the condos. If we turned our heads to the left we could see the ocean. The front desk person on Friday was great, she was very nice and got us checked in quickly. Both Friday and Saturday night we heard people and car horns all night. Skip to Sunday and I have nothing nice to say about the front desk staff. I went to them with a problem about our breakfast vouchers and received smirks and condescension with basically a "that's not our problem". At the end of the day we will not be returning. I'm sure they do not really care about that and will get other poor unfortunate souls to pay to stay here.

Really enjoyed my stay here the past weekend. the pictures were spot on. the shower in the master bedroom needed some repairing, but overall it was nice. the receptionist at the hotel had a great attitude. there was a lot to do around the hotel. If you're ever here, go find Jillian at the poolside bar. :)

I understand that we came during a hurricane, but they closed the pools multiple times for no reason. When they did open their was an individual at the pool with a huge speaker like a speaker that you would use as a d j blasting hispanic music We actually thought it was coming with in the pool area but was soon told that wasn't the case a young lady went and brought her own speaker down and was told to turn it down !! The submarine Kiddie pool area definitely needed to be cleaned. Overall, it's not a very good experience. We'll not stay here again

Loved the pool, loved the area. Apartment was ok.. but definitely not what we paid for. We paid for a 2 bedroom w balcony. We got a studio on bottom floor. Notified them of the error & showed our receipt and still had to pay more to get the 2 bedroom
