Grande Beach Resort - Resort hotel in Myrtle Beach - 2101 S Ocean Blvd, USA

This was a weekend getaway for my sister and I. We had an awesome time in Myrtle Beach. This hotel for us was nothing like the bad reviews left by other guests. Our room was spacious and clean. We had enough toiletries for the whole weekend and we didn’t have to ask for anything to be replaced. We were on the 11th floor and our view was amazing. The underneath parking garage at the hotel was well lit and the overflow parking garage that was located across and down the street maybe 20-30 yards away was not an inconvenient walk for us at all. Easy access to pool and beach. We never had to wait more than 1-2 minutes on the elevator. So overall we had a great experience on this trip and at this location.

Great experience. I read the bad reviews after I had paid for my stay and I was soo nervous and wanted to cancel which I couldn’t but it turned out great. The location is great, has beach access, the pm shift lady by the front desk was awesome, the room was nice and spacious with ocean front. I loved it but the only thing was the floor in my room was very sandy when I checked in an I hadn’t been to the beach so I’m not sure if that was cleaned or not. Nonetheless, good hotel

Great beachfront location. Room was not the cleanest. I asked for our floor to be mopped and it never happened. My family wore sandals the entire time because the floor was so dirty. Our floor constantly had water leaking from the crevices. I love the location but don’t think I’ll be back. Also if you have a room right off the parking garage, be prepared to hear loud engines all night long. Very irritating when you have young toddlers that go to bed early.

We never got room service from Monday-Thursday. We had to take our own trash out and go to the desk for fresh towels everyday. No restaurant available as advertised so therefore no breakfast. False advertising. No security. Anyone can come in at anytime. We had two rooms. The second room had 2 beds and one bed you can feel every spring in it. Pillows looked like it had cotton balls stuffed in it. The wall had areas where they patched up holes but didn’t paint or sand the areas. The bottom of the door was black from dirt. My son cleaned it hisself. Which he shouldn’t have to.Night attendant seemed high and sleep when I went down to get more towels and the African lady is very rude. No professionalism at all! I was going to talk to the manager about our complaints as we were leaving but she seemed overwhelmed and uninterested. A saw the attendant tell her that I wanted to talk to her and she was very irritated. She was helping someone else but I walked to where she was and could see that she didn’t really give a damn. Thought about reaching out to corporate! I Will not stay again or refer to anyone. The only good thing was the pool,the view and the bartender.

This is NOT a resort-it’s a motel. It should be illegal to call this a resort. Worst place I’ve EVER stayed. Sketchy people smoking weed everywhere. We literally thought SC must’ve legalized it since so many people were smoking it. But nope-just this dump of a motel allowing it. NOT a family resort! The rooms were dirty. Sheets were cheap & scratchy. We had no working phone in our room. Mold in the shower. No pool towels. Actually we were only able to get clean bath towels ONCE our entire stay. Every time we tried to get towels we were told there were none available. There is no housekeeping during your stay. They apparently only clean rooms upon checkout. Desk attendants were not friendly at all. We did not feel safe here. This is not in a nice area of MB either. Very run down. The ONLY good thing was the views of the ocean. We will NEVER stay here again.

Friendly staff. Decent location. Loved the view. Comfy beds. It's not a 5 star hotel so expect the landlord special. But it's not dirty or moldy. I do wish they'd clean more days. But would stay again

Disgusting. Do NOT stay here at any cost! The pictures are completely misleading. Take the pictures online and age them 50 years, butchered remodel. I was supposed to stay 6 nights, Place was so gross I DID NOT STAY. Not even close to a resort, more like a motel. To start I called the day before to ask questions about the place. No answer from the desk all day. Had 4 people in my family trying to contact them by phone and email and they ignored. Front desk lady is rude. The manager is even worse. All they care about is getting your money. Place is dirty from the minute you walk In to the time you get to your room. Entered our room to find bug guts in the walls, wads of hair on the sheets, huge stains on the beds, toilet paper holder falling out of the wall, broken furniture. Everything was so disappointing and disgusting I did not want to stay. Expressed concern to the front desk, no help at all. Asked to speak to the manager. Was Lied to and told she left for the day , just for her to walk out a minute later out of the back when I refused to go without speaking to her. She was dismissive and no help. Lied and said the sheets we stained from “over washing” and then told us we could change our sheets ourselves if we wanted. Between the condition of this “resort” and the disrespect from the staff. i choose to cut my losses and left within 2 hours of entering the building. If I could I would give this place ZERO stars.

I'm not sure of where to start with my stay at Grande Beach Resort. Essentially, it was a motel that on the outside presented as if it was the best place to stay at. There was and is definitely potential for this place to be amazing.. but it wasn't.||To start, there was a stain that looked like old hardened poop on my bed sheet, there was a massive water bug in my room, the bed was on what seemed like a big wooden slab that wasn't even big enough for the bed, the dresser was broken, and the service was terrible. The one girl at the desk, Shameka, was great. Everyone else that my family and I dealt with wasn't the best.||Even asking for room service to change our sheets (my sister who had a separate room had a similar stain on her sheets), they instructed us that room service is only on certain days and that we had to wait. It wasn't until we told them that there was a stain that they gave us sheets for us to make the bed ourselves.||When room service did come, they left the door open for me and my partner to come back to later find our door wide open. Thankfully nothing was missing. It felt as though they were extremely short staffed and had barely anyone on sight to maintain the space. Especially with the floors and elevator that was filthy from people walking back and forth from the pool. The elevator even kept getting stuck the whole stay.||I won't ever be returning here and wouldn't recommend to anyone else.
