Grand Atlantic Ocean Resort - Resort hotel in Myrtle Beach - 2007 S Ocean Blvd, USA

Have stayed here several times during 20023. No complaints or issues whatsoever. Check-in has always been i order and the front desk staff have always been extremely nice and accommodating. Nice property, nice pool area (indoor/ outdoor), plenty of parking in the parking garage. Will certainly return.

We went down on 10/04/23 the place was better than I expected. The desk attendant was friendly and informative, the place was clean, furniture was nice and comfortable, and the beds were comfortable. Love the fact that we heard no street just the ocean. The location was great a mini mart in the building and a bigger one across the street. Walmart neighborhood store was a block away and a mini golf course was walking distance from the place. I would definitely stay here again.

We have been coming here close to 10 years maybe more. Love the location on the beach and a great walk to various piers. Sadly, the quality of Grand Atlantic seems to be declining. When we arrived,our room is not to the standard we are used to. Requested a king bed but gentleman at check in said we requested to beds. Okay, normally and on the Web site, it's 2 queens. Not full sized. No ceiling fan in living room. Counter top in kitchen is full of pits(age?). The dryer didn't work but maintenance did fix. Air conditioner pan fills with water daily and needs vacuumed daily which maintenance does when we call. Living room floor is a cheap laminate and buckles when we walk in certain areas. The nauseating smell of marijuana was so bad on day we couldn't use our balcony at all. The entire hallway reeked of marijuana for 2 days straight! Isn't this a none smoking hotel? Front desk was no help. Our room in April of 2023 was absolutely perfect! Kiddie pool has been full of sand and not cleaned for a week Area for rinsing off sand is so full of sand that it's absolutely useless. We love the location but not sure if we'll be back

The Grand Atlantic was awesome. We had a room that would sleep ten and we were very comfortable. Our room was also fully stocked we booked through VRBO and Derek was awesome. The beds were amazing. We all slept great. Thanks for a great place to stay for a week away from our home. The only thing that we were sad about on our trip was the hot tub was not hot. They kept trying to fix it but it never was hot.

Looks great on the outside, but not much on the inside. I don't care if things are outdated, but I do expect things to be in working order and clean. No ice bucket. When you used the microwave, the frig would stop working. The shower curtain rod was bent and the shower curtain would not stay closed. Only one chair in the room. The room looked nothing like the picture we saw on their website. The info book in the room had not been updated for a couple years. No info for checking out. 20 floors and only 3 ice machines. Anyone could walk off the beach and get into the hotel through the gates. Not very secure at all. Would not go back again.

Just returned from a week long vacation at the grand Atlantic. Everything was wonderful. The view was fantastic, check in was great, the elevators were quick and air conditioned, when we needed supplies they delivered them to us. The place is well cared for, has great security features, and has a convenience store and an ice cream place. The room was very nice. The beds were comfortable. The pools were great. They supplied pool towels. And the parking was fine. We had a great vacation and hope to be back in the future. First time in Myrtle beach and we had the best time.

It was beautifully renovated 3 bd/3ba condo however every day we was awaken by banging, clicking, stomping as if someone was about to break through the floor. Come to find out, they were renovating the condo upstairs which made the trip not good for us when we are trying to relax and sleep in. Overall location good but just wished we were notified of the renovation that way we could have made a decision to book or not to book.

Extremely poor quality rooms. I went and booked through American Express. Both parties help each other run this type of nasty show. They gave me one of the dirtiest place i have ever seen and the room had no refridgerator. Paid for partial view but they put me also in a rear view room. Hotel staffs told me they care less about third party bookings. Also the room I stayed was not part of the hotel. So whatever went down there they wouldn't care. Manager on the other hand was unprofessional and careless. Pay little more and go to a clean and respectful hotel.
