I had an incredible experience during my recent trip to Las Vegas. I flew in for a special birthday weekend, and from the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. I chose to stay at the Golden Nugget, and I couldn't be happier with that decision. In my opinion, the Golden Nugget is the ultimate place to stay in Las Vegas. One of the standout features of the Golden Nugget is its swimming pool. It's not just any pool; it's a massive, luxurious pool with a unique twist—a giant shark tank right in the middle! The tank is filled with an impressive variety of sharks and exotic fish, creating a captivating underwater world. You can swim around the tank, which adds an exhilarating thrill to the pool experience. Even if you're not a swimmer, there's a water slide that goes through the shark tank, offering a close-up view of these majestic creatures as you glide by. The combination of relaxation and excitement makes the pool area an unforgettable part of the stay. But the appeal of the Golden Nugget extends far beyond its pool. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. It offers easy access to many attractions, including the famous Fremont Street Experience, which is just steps away. This vibrant area is filled with dazzling lights, street performances, and a variety of dining and entertainment options, providing endless things to see and do. Like is said before from the front desk lady she was able to put closer to the pool area. Definitely needed this since I had my children. Made it easier for me to bringing them upstairs. Rooms are super cute and had bigger shampoo and body washes. My family come with girls with long hairs so this is importance. Front desk lady smiled which is welcoming and asked us questions so if we anything else. Pool area great customer service as well. They asked us if we needed anything. My children loved the slides and the fishes in the tank. Over all experience was 10 plus if I could rate them higher. Thank for making this visit such a great experience for my family. I definitely recommend anyone coming here. I live in Vegas never did a stayed in a hotel but will definitely come here again . Thank again for such a great time. My children were so happy to come here .

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my current stay at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas in the Carson Tower, Room 864, from August 31, 2024, to September 2, 2024. The level of noise and vibrations in the room due to a nearby concert is causing a deeply unpleasant and distressing experience, far below the standards I expect from your establishment. When I checked into the hotel at nearly 7:00 PM on August 31, 2024, I was not informed at check-in about the concert happening across the street and the significant noise and vibrations that would affect my room. Upon entering Room 864, it immediately became evident that the noise and vibrations from the concert were extremely disruptive, with booming music and vibrations causing the walls to shake. This is not only uncomfortable but entirely unacceptable for a hotel room intended for rest and relaxation. I promptly called the front desk to report the issue and was offered a $50 food and beverage credit and a waiver of the resort fee. I was also assured that the music would stop by 11:00 PM or, at the latest, by 12:00 AM. In an effort to avoid the unbearable noise, I left my room and did not return until 1:00 AM. However, to my dismay, the concert was still ongoing, and the noise and vibrations were just as intense as before. When I contacted guest services again, I was informed that the concert would continue until 2:00 AM and that no other rooms were available. I requested to file a formal complaint with management and asked for a return call, but I have yet to receive a response. Additionally, I found a place card in the room with an apology for the noise and a pair of earplugs. However, the earplugs are entirely ineffective in mitigating the vibrations that are causing the walls to shake. As a result of this experience, I am unable to rest properly during my stay, which is significantly impacting my overall experience. The actions taken by the hotel, including the minimal compensation offered, are inadequate given the severity of the disturbance. I believe that the hotel is failing to fulfill its obligation to provide a reasonable accommodation and to inform me of the known noise issues at the time of check-in.

It was a nice place. Our room was clean and the outside noise that they warned you about didn't really affect us on the 4th floor pool side. They need more of the hotel restaurants to open earlier. We ate at Claim Jumpers and the food was very good. didn't have time to go to the pool but it looked nice and had a cool shark tank. The concierge office was great and helped with anything we needed. Having to go across the street to the 2nd floor of the parking garage to get a Lyft or Uber was a little inconvenient but you got use to it and I guess having the cars pull up to the front doors would make it a little congested. Freemont Street was right out the door and a really cool place to stroll. You see all kinds of crazy things and the canopy that covered the street was pretty cool to watch with all the different videos it was showing. The one thing is that since it is in Downtown you are away from the strip and will need to get a ride. To far to walk.|All in all is was a good experience.

The whole intention of my stay was because of the pool. It just looked like so much fun. Ended up not having enough time to experience it. This just gives me an excuse to stay again. The overall experience was fantastic. Friendly employees in every department. The rooms and hotel itself could have been a little cleaner. The hallway had some questionable stains and the tub in the bathroom didn't drain very well at all. Other than that it was great! I would stay here again and also recommend to family and friends.

Are usually do not leave a review, but this trip really upset me. I’ve stayed here multiple times and not a problem except the last two times. This last time we were told if we wanted to check in an hour before the huge line starts, we would have to upgrade so of course we did. We were promised a better room. Well that was falls. It was a horrible room with broken blinds so you were woken up at 5 AM Every morning for three days. No one came and fixed it even though we complain multiple times. The best was to get a chair at the pool had to pay $50. So we rented to and guess what when we came back from lunch, the chairs were gone and taken, and the manager would not give us a refund or do anything about it. Completely miserable. They charge you a “resort fee” what the hell is that for if you have to pay for chairs at the pool?

Stayed at the Golden Nugget for my honeymoon and was not disappointed! Was immediately upgraded to a suite with a view of the mountains by the super sweet lady at check in. The casino does get crowded but it is Vegas, just go with the flow and enjoy. Plenty of food choices and right on Fremont. A great experience!

When staying at the hotel and using their parking......be advised, you MUST register your car using one of the QR code signs in the garage. They are hard to miss as the more predominant signs state to pay before leaving to speed up the flow of traffic. Registering your car to the room was also not mentioned during check-in. The room was nice and spacious. The bathroom had a few hairs in the shower and a dirty spot on the floor, but nothing too terrible. The shower drain did back up which was a little annoying but not too bad to contend with otherwise. Overall, it was a pleasant stay in a great location.
