It took a while to be seated but once I got seated in a booth the service was good. The food is exactly what you expect to get at Friendly's! I always find it consistent and worth the Drive. Like I said the only real issue was getting seated because they are clearly short staffed.
My girlfriend found our servers hair sitting right on top of her sandwich. She was clearly preoccupied by the older gentleman/ her ride to notice. She also gave us a to go box for our left over sundae... very disappointed with the service. Minus the hair the food was typical Friendly's. If there was another Friendly's option I would not eat here again.
The employees were nice but I was disappointed with my purchase. I ordered ice cream to go and once I arrived home and served the ice cream to the rest of my party, half of the order was wrong. This was unfortunate because someone in my party was looking forward to their dessert because it was their birthday and all they wanted was ice cream from this restaurant. To say the least I am very upset because this was supposed to add to their great day and instead it was disappointing.
I see why friendlies is now closing their doors. They can't keep up with normal chain food, and they can even keep the small amount of customers that they have and give them decent food for money as worth. I would rather pay $30 for 1 plate and have excellent food and service. Then to pay $10 a plate and get c***** food and service.

I couldn't have asked for better service. :) they were so polite and helpful. They made my 4 year old granddaughter feel as though she was all grown up. :) will be back
This was my first time inside a Friendly's restaurant. Their welcome sign made me smile, and take a picture of it :)
I am glad I did have ice cream at the end - probably the first time I have been served an icecream cone on a silver dish!
It seemed like most of the menu was made up of new items. My group discussed the perils of trying something new, but I decided I just had to try the cheese skirt burger! When I told our server that was what I wanted, she said "There is a lot in that burger, are you sure you like everything in it?" I had looked at the list, but was glad she asked, I told her I liked everything but the thousand island dressing and she said they would remove that.
As a cheese lover, this burger was everything I hoped it would be based on the picture in the menu. And I would recommend it - but be sure to check if there are any toppings you want to have removed. Oh, and if you love pickles, like me, ask for extra. The burger came out with only one medium sized pickle slice on the burger and I wished I had more.
For my icecream cone I got a single scoop of butter crunch. It seemed more like a double scoop to me so I am glad I went with the smaller size!

This is a great moderate hike close to Concord. I took the tower trail out to the fire watch tower and there is some moderate elevation gain on the way there. The path isnât too rocky though and the view is amazing from the top of the tower!
