El Rancho Motel - Motel in Franklin - 8973 S 27th St, USA

Im a contractor and did a job here and stayed at the El Rancho during my 3 months here. First off, the owner and her husband are such nice people. If I needed something she wouldnt hestitate to take care of me. Myself and others were here working nights and she made sure people outside kept it quite while we slept during the day. The rooms are clean, the showers work amazing and beds are comfortable/clean along with tv with like 200 of the best channels. I switched a few rooms and will say slept in a few beds here and never got attacked by bed bugs. I feel those people are just looking for a free stay. AC/Heat works great. They also allow grilling. I will definitely miss the hospitality and recommend this place to anyone traveling through or coming in for a long stay. There is a restaurant with a nice bar that has excellent food and service 30 feet away. Thank you Smita for being such a kind person. If I am ever in the area again even just for festivals I will definitely be back at the El Rancho.

I happened to stay here when my car broke down in the vicinity while on my way to MN. Although the accommodations were fine for the price point, the family that runs the motel were the real shining star. Very friendly and helpful. They made being broke down not so stressful! Thanks El Rancho!

Booked a room for a week left they same night. Manager made remarks about making sure we arent coming from another hotel in fear of us bringing bugs before checking in. Back arms and legs have bite marks and i have video footage of BED BUGS, manager acted clueless, SUPPOSEDLY was going to give refund buh charges 180 for a 2pm to 9 pm checkin my card says its been empty. Horrible horrible HORRIBLE only gave 1 star because it requires a rating to post reveiw

The rooms are spacious, well-outfitted and comfortable. Cleaning and housekeeping services were on point throughout my stay -- i could almost set a clock by their daily appearance. The rates were reasonable, the staff kind, and the ownership highly wonderful and understanding. Overall, if I needed a motel in that area again, I know where I'd be going.

I love it here & I stay often. Its affordable (though I do wish they had weekly rates, or had discount on any of the hotel apps)... It's clean, comfortable, safe - Ive never seen any shady guests here and it's conveniently located. The management team is friendly, professional and amazing. With all the discount apps for hotel discounts, I continue to chose to stay here at a local family run business over saving a few bucks at a multi-million dollar chain.

Just a place to stay until I find the apt I want in Milwaukee. It's clean and a trucker stop but also regular people...don't see kids around, but it's very close to the freeway, as it is located so far south. It is family-run, and they don't allow anything nefarious nor nefarious ppl, as far as they know, to stay here. It's plain, but has some extended stay amenities, and the price is good. They won't allow trouble here, though, so don't even try. As a single woman, I appreciate that.

I was attacked by bedbugs!! The motel is easy and convenient for the price but when I discovered I was bitten up I called to report I've been attacked by bedbugs at their motel, they denied it and was very rude hanging up the phone in my face!! Has anyone else notice being bitten by bedbugs there? Please leave your comments and concerns.....

El Rancho Motel has magnificent service under new ownership and has exceptionally clean cozy welcoming rooms! Check-in/check-out was simple and convenient at a considerable low nightly rate and we really enjoyed our stay. The people at the check-in counter are very friendly and organized. I would highly recommend staying at El Rancho Motel over any other motel on 27th Street
