Small, beautiful and clean Park.. love going there and relax by the pond. Has small playground for kids.
Nice large, open grassy ground for playing frisbee or running around with two small kid sized baseball fields, playground with swings for older kids and little kids, little kid slide, etc.; walkway along the park periphery for jogging; scenic fountains in ponds. There are two porta potties but they tend to be a bit gross as to be expected - bring your own tissues and wet wipes or hand sanitizer.
it’s a nice park to walk around. I enjoyed it. It’s small and walkable to get some fresh air and stroll. There’s a paved trail. I would recommend it.
Super fun, kid, and adult friendly. Great water view, but watch the kiddos near the water. Nice park with one entrance and exit, making it easy to watch kiddos & keeping them from escaping.
Picnic tables and shade! Not too sure about bathrooms...
It's a beautiful park! We went right at sunset and the reflection off the water was so pretty! There were even some ducks swimming around. One bridge to walk around was blocked off maybe the storm damaged it. The only thing is it got pretty dark at night when we got ready to leave maybe there should be some more light🤷🏽♀️ but pretty peaceful place. Had a small evening picnic and ate the best asain food I've ever tasted!
As a travel nurse from North Carolina, I am constantly delighted by little surprises (like this park) tucked in unexpected corners everywhere in New Jersey. I had picked up a burger and sweet potato fries to go at Stuffed Grass Fed Burgers nearby (HIGHLY recommended) and wanted a pretty place to enjoy my meal. I sat on a park bench overlooking the beautiful pond (with fountains!) and an island with some sort of memorial. Wanting to burn off my feast, I walked along the paved trail around the pond, enjoying the beautiful view and watching families bike and play. As I drew closer to the memorial, a bridge offered a better view. On this Independence Day, I was thrilled to discover that it was a beautiful tribute to the local residents who had given their lives for our freedom. As an Air Force veteran myself, married to a retired Air Force officer, daughter of an Air Force officer and also the mother of an Air Force officer, I was moved to tears. This park brought joy to me, all alone and far from home and family, on this summer holiday.
It is beautiful place and one of the hidden park in NJ, kids will love this place it has playing area too.
One of my favorite parks in the montclair area. Not super crowded, there's a bunch or big trees that provide a nice shaded area perfect for a picnic. There is a big children's playground and mulple water fountains that actually work. During the summer that have a whole calendar of senior activities. Overall a great park.
