Courtyard Suffolk Chesapeake - Hotel in Suffolk - 8060 Harbour View Blvd, USA

We were greeted promptly by Tabitha who was very accommodating. We arrived around 1:00pm after a ten hour dive and even though it was too early to check in, she found a room that was ready and we were able to go straight to our room to sleep. The room was super clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had no complaints. The hotel had a great location to many restaurants that were with a two mile radius. Would definitely stay here again. The only drawback was the lack of a breakfast bar.

The hotel was good but be aware that you need to pay for breakfast. The room was clean and the staff were pretty friendly. There was some commotion outside our room, so I’d say the hotel was fine but some of the guests were loud and not considerate of others. The hotel has an exercise area and an indoor pool. We did not take advantage of those but they are available. |We came in a little late (9pm) so if you’re coming in at a later time just call the front desk so they know. The lady was very nice about it.

I will definitely stay here again. The room was great. The hotel was quiet. And the staff was very helpful. My only comparing were the pillows. Not a fan of square pillows.

Hotel personnel were excellent and deserve 5+ stars, however, the facilities could surely use an upgrade. Our hotel room was old, the carpet felt so dirty, we could not walk barefoot in the room. The bathroom also was quite dated. Our room phone was disgusting. The location is great and close to everything.

Positive: The location was perfect and so was the convenience factor. The staff was great and it was very peaceful there. I for got my swim trunks but if I had them I would have gone for a swim. Negative: ""

We to the hotel at 9:00 p.m. after a 10 hour drive Checked in and went to the room and it smelled moldy. Went down talked to the front desk and they sent up house cleaning. The house cleaning was nice and confirmed he also smelled the mold he said the only thing he could do is spray a spray on it. ( I have bad allergies to mold and smelly sprays so I said no it might make it worse) Front desk said i couldn't check out and I wouldn't be refunded if I would leave. I also couldn't move rooms because there wasn't any available. So, after they changed shifts, I talked to another lady. That lady told me the cleaning staff already talked to her and she would notify the manager in the morning. She forgot to tell me she was the night shift manager, and she could have done something at that point. Told me I could have got refunded and done her job. So in the morning, I asked the front desk about some kind of compensation. She is the one that told me the guy last night was new and I could have been refunded last night and moved hotels. She also said She didn't understand why the night manger didn't do anything about it. So I called the Marriott !-800 a week ago on Jly 24th 2024 and I still haven't heard anything

Pleasant stay at this hotel. Close to where i was working. Definitely need a car rental though. Have to say a big thank you to the hotel staff on reception when i arrived late in the evening and my credit card company decided to invoke a fraud check on it. Staff allowed me to check in and get the situation sorted, which i did within the hour. They were very patient with me which i appreciated. There are plenty of nearby places to eat, but only one within walking distance. Since i dont drink if i am driving, i chose to eat inthe hotel bistro. Small selection of food, but not badly priced and quite tasty.

Worst hotel experience from a frequent traveler. They cancelled my reservation and sent me over to the hotel next door which is disgusting. Took 10m for someone to come greet me and I ultimately cancelled the reservation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
