This service and staff at this location is everything but professional, not in uniform, allowed to have children at work sleeping on the furniture in the lobby, no water for members, rude service the General manager acts as if she knows nothing of the brand standards. No staff at the counter my while stay every time I went to check in, check on an issue or check out I had to wait for 20 plus minutes to speak to someone. Room was decent one bed had hair on it, hair in the shower DO NOT RECOMMEND. Maybe when they get a new manager who is more professional. And keeps the Marriott brand held at it'd standards. At minimum a dress code fir staff.
The check-in was great, I can't remember her name but she was there when I checked in at 2pm - 11pm and also there when I got my morning coffee. The rooms itself was nice, however the shower was a little rusty around the edges of the pan. House-keeping came and they were happy to move us to a different room due to the rust. We did visit Starbucks and was disappointed with the coffee the second day. It was not as strong and we asked for a stronger tasting blend. The gentleman working that day made a fresh pot but still not as strong as we desired. He made a very rude statement "that we were the only customers to complain". Every person has a desire taste and it just didn't do for us that day. He seem to be offended for no reason, his entire demeanor changed and he became rude. After he became upset and made the comment, my sister and I felt insulted by his comment. Other comments were made for no apparent reason at all and it was really disturbing. The parking was small but manageable. Without this incident in the bistro I would have given all 5's. Angie
Only thing that was good about this hotel was the distance to the hospital what we have driven 12 hours it visit an I'll family member, we arrived late at night, there was no one at the front desk upon arrival, after alont waste they finally came and checked up in. We went out again and when we returned we wanted to get drinks and snacks from the pantry, it was 90% empty and once again no worker anywhere in site. 4 times we visited the front desk during our stay and each time there was no staff anywhere insight. Phoning the front desk from our room was pointless as they didn't even answer the phone. The Staff really needs retraining, and breeds to be more professional. Their work attire is lacking, leggings is not acceptable for hotel employees. There were small kids laying around the lobby at 11pm. Your not allowed to take in outside food or beverages but you can not ever find anyone to service you at the hotel. The room itself was lacking the wallpaper was peeling g off and coming down in our bathroom, after a 12 hour road trip you would like to soak in a hot bath to relax you muscles only this facility only has showers. Being branded by Marriott I really expected more. My son works for Marriott and I just think that court yard could use some major staff trying or staff replacement... anyone in customer service should at least be kind to their quests The Staff at this hotel was in no kind or courteous to any customer that I noticed unless it was the regular customer that The GM seemed To be a little to friendly with so.much so when the phone rang. She answered it and just said please hold and replace the phone in the candle. I don't know who the distract manager is but you might want to watch some of your hotel surveillance
Our family stayed several nights and utilized the Bud Day room twice as part of our services to bury my father. We could not have stayed anywhere else that could have met our needs as well. Clean, neat, well designed. GREAT staff & Location. The back patio with the fire table was AWESOME!!!! We will return here when other family member from Sioux City passes. Thank you!
Great place. Rooms were nice and clean when I first arrived. Great location. I disliked that my room was never cleaned the 3 days I was there. Ambiance of hotel was nice. Loved the bistro downstairs in lobby area.
My issue was not really with the staff as much as it is with policies. Signs everywhere "no outside food or drink in public areas" WHAT!? If I rent a room with wy family or group of staff for a convention and we want to order pizza, we have to eat it in our rooms!!?? No, not cool. I have been to other Marriott properties with grills we can use and eat as a group. Not at this place. I also have over 1,400 night stayed at Marriott properties and I don't ever remember seeing anything like this before. Will not be staying at this one again. If you are so desperate for income try another approach. For shame Marriott,
We made our reservation weeks in advance. When we arrived at 1:00 A.M. (after driving all day) and tried to check in we were told that "the computer" had malfunctioned and the room we had reserved was not available. No effort had been made to contact us and nothing was done to help us find another hotel. I have never had such lousy service anywhere else and will never stay at a Courtyard hotel again.
We stopped here because I was very tired and needed to sleep for a few hours. We paid with Expedia, but the front desk also charged our card for the room. It took almost 3 weeks to get our money back because we disputed it with the bank. Courtyard Marriott’s Corporate can’t do anything to give your money back. I will never stay in a courtyard Marriott again.

We had to spend the night unexpectedly due to some bad weather while traveling. I saw this hotel had similar/identical rates to other hotels nearby but had slightly larger rooms, so we booked a couple rooms and hoped for the best. Let me tell youâ¦t
Our family usually stays at a different Hilton hotel when in Sioux City, but this time we decided to try this hotel instead. Hilton hotels are usually without any serious complaints and this is no exception. If traveling with children, this hotel is
Anne was absolutely amazing from the first time I spoke with her, through the duration of the 8 weeks. When my Daughter was awarded a Summer Internship and we were responsible for finding housing for 8 weeks in Iowa, to say I felt over whelmed was a
I've never had a bad experience there from my early childhood memory when it was a movie theater, to musicals, to concerts, and the symphony. The staff are very professional and it's even nice to come back and see their familiar face!
I was in town for a month, Abby and the team have created an amazing environment that is friendly, motivating, and challenging. Every coach I worked with was focused on form and safety. Itâs been more than a year since I had last done CrossFit, Coa
One of the best coffee shops in Sioux City and probably the oldest in the area. Worth checking it out. Amazing food made with fresh ingredients. A big range of signature coffee drinks, cold brew, iced coffee, iced tea, Vietnamese coffee, you name it,
