Where should I start? Dinner date with my wife and she picked to eat here. It was actually the first time either of us has been here. Cibo did not disappoint. It is Thursday night, but we were seated almost immediately. Our server Jamey was great. Couldn’t have asked for a more attentive and knowledgeable server. Food was great, it’s hard to describe the flavors, but I think it’s a place you need to try yourself.
First thing you notice is the vibe. Immediately disarmed by how calm and relaxed the environment they have created for you. It's down to the small details. Not overly done. Bravo.
The service was impressive, even as full as they were, wine and appetizers were served rather quickly. The gentleman that helped us, was an absolute legend. He was fantastic!!! Thank you very much Richie, you're an absolute ripper mate!!!!
Now, the main event. The food. It has been a while since I've enjoyed a very well seasoned, properly proportioned meal. The crust on our pizza and calzone, was superb. The suggestions were on point. We will absolutely be coming back.
If you are looking for a new place to relax, have a brilliant meal and some rather lively musical accompaniment, this is the best place I've found in the states. My complements to the Chef. It was an absolute delight. Bravo! Bravo!
The pizza is always tasty 😋. It took a while for our server to greet our table. Other than that, he was great he checked up on us occasionally and made sure we were okay. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy.
I have been dining at Cibo for a few years. This is one of my favorite restaurants! I visited on September 1st, Jesus was our server and I can confidently say that this was the best service I’ve ever had here.
The food is always delicious. I love eating outside during the evening because of the atmosphere. This is a great spot to bring friends and loved ones. Highly recommend making a reservation - we always make one any time we come because they can get quite busy at times.
Beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor space. The outdoor space is perfect for winter weather as heaters are available for guests.
I really enjoy their pizza and calamari. The pizza dough is bouncy in a good way. Calamari was crispy and well seasoned.
I personally not enjoy their Saltimbocca Caldi that much. The Polpette meatball one was a bit dried and Alla Parmigiana texture was a bit weird.
Favorite Italian spot in PHX!
There is usually a wait time without a reservation. Relaxing bar in the back to hangout and have a drink while you wait.
Lots of pizza options not many pasta options but hand made and delish!
I must say that CIBO serves the most amazing Neapolitan-style pizza in the valley! Having tried almost every pizza place in the area, I can confidently say that CIBO is the best. The pizza marguerita was soft, elastic and easy to fold, the crust had some flame blisters, the tomato sauce tasted just right and the mozzarella cheese was perfect. The restaurant's atmosphere is amazing, especially when you sit outside under the trees, it looks really cool. Furthermore, the staff was very attentive and helpful when we placed our order.
We have been going to this place for years. It is family owned business and a gem of place. The quality of pizza is topmost in the phoenix, mesa and scottsdale areas. Once you have a pizza here you wont like pizza anywhere else. I have been spoiled by their pizza and calzones that either I eat there or not at all. The pizza has food firy taste. All the desserts are awesome. Would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat
