Took a tour here in Spring 2011 as an 8th grader during a field trip. It was interesting. Hopefully one day I can make a return visit/tour to check out the updated weather tracking technology. See you soon!

You guys do a great job!!! With Eric's great experience in weather (from 13 year old and on) you would think he would understand that these things are not like how they show storms being tracked in movies...

Due to the fact man does not create weather, a well trained professional can only do what he/she can with the info they have available at the time. Weather can change at the drop of a hat, and cannot be fully predicted. As a professional pilot I see this daily. Our NWS staff across the nation does a fantastic job!

I very much appreciate the reports on our weather radio station VXL65, but is there any way you can get rid of your beep every 5 seconds that started about a month ago?

Hi my name's Eric Jordan. I have been following you ever since I was 13 years old. I have great knowledge of weather and weather forecasting. But with that said. I have never lived in a state where NOAA weather was more wrong than you guys today. July 5th of 2016. Are calling for a great chance for severe thunderstorms. Complete with damaging winds tornadoes large hail. And guess what from my radar. And I'm pretty sure it's the same radar you guys use. Once again it looks like it's going to miss southern Minnesota. Here's the sad reality people at NOAA. I understand that there's no way to predict the weather a hundred percent. But you guys get paid a decent wage to predict the weather. You would think that you would get it right at least 40 to 60% of the time. But the last three years you have gotten it maybe 15% that doesn't matter if it's winter summer spring or fall you're always wrong. About 90% of the time. Just like a month ago up north there was some thunderstorms and some of them became severe. But for southern Minnesota there was only like a slight chance of thunderstorms. Then it turned out to be a very severe thunderstorm Truman Minnesota. Picked up 7 & a half inches of rain the winds were 89 miles per hour lots of damage trees down. And yet not one time did you post a severe thunderstorm warning for Truman Minnesota or any part of southern Minnesota for that matter. Let me say this with the most respect if you can't get your forecast right in southern Minnesota then please turn it over to someone who can. People depend on your warnings or watches but when they never come true or you don't post it when they need to be people start ignoring you. They laugh at you guys because every time you say something the opposite happens. It's very frustrating so why don't you let Sioux Falls take over southern Minnesota. Because their accuracy rate is much higher than your guyses it's very sad to see such a wasteful resource and my tax dollars pay for you guys to get it wrong 90% of the time and trust me I'm not the only one that feels this way very sad indeed
