I enjoyed lunch at the Cedars of Lebanon. I ordered the beef Sharwama platter. It was delicious!!! First time here and i shall definitely revisit. Absolutely delicious - I got the Lebanese traditional platter, the hummus was so smooth, the falafel was incredibly good, and the tabbouleh was wonderfully tart.
This appears to be a family owned place which we really wanted to like because it was well price and in a nice area but the food was only ok. The biggest disappointment for us were that either they didn't make their own pita or they didn't make them fresh daily; the second issue was that our fried pastries were very rancid. I think this shop has the potential to do quite a bit better if they added a few niceties ie fresh pita bread and paid a little more attention to quality control
Wonderful, authentic, Lebanese food! This family-owned gem hidden in the heart of Greenbelt was nothing short of exceptional. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the service were all top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience authentic Lebanese cuisine in a warm and welcoming environment. The passion and love the family puts into their dishes is apparent in every bite, and we can't wait to go back for more.
Having lived in Dubai for 2 years I've had my fair share of Lebanese food and this was exceptional. All the dipping sauces were 💯. The salad with everything in it was amazing and has a completely different flavor profile than anything I've eaten in the last year, which is saying a lot. The hot tea is fabulous blend of aromas and awesomeness. The red 🍅 sauce that comes with the lamb kabob makes you want to lick the plate. What can I say other than I'll be back to over eat and unbundled my belt when I get into the car to drive home to a food coma nap.
Amazing experience!! Wonderful food!! We went there for a quick bite on our way to Washington DC, but we ended up taking more than a bite. We ordered Falafel sandwich, veggie sandwich, hummus with shawarma (chicken) and chicken shawarma. Each of these items were so good. We ended up ordering one more portion of hummus with shawarma. Chicken was tender and nicely seasoned so was falafel. Perfect balance of bread to filling. We ended our meal with baklava and chocolate mousse. We recommend falafel sandwich and chocolate mousse. We went there for the first time! They welcomed us graciously! We enjoyed the delicious food we ordered, and loved the carrot cake! Our friends gifted us more sweets to take home!
