You can see a Mount Rushmore tunnel view as you are driving through CC Gideon Tunnel when you drive Iron Mountain Road AWAY FROM Mount Rushmore. It loops around so that you will get a tunnel view of Mount Rushmore as you are driving through at least one tunnel no matter which direction you drive! Driving through the Iron Mountain Road tunnels also means that you’ll be driving through Black Hills National Forest.
Although this is just a tunnel; for many folks this will be a really neat experience. In addition to being a one lane tunnel through the rock of the Black Hills one of the entrances is part of a pig tail loop in the road. One note, be sure to honk as you enter to warn other vehicles coming from the other direction.
Really Cool Tunnel With a nice view of Mount Rushmore

An absolutely must see for any American! I would even say if you're a foreigner touring the U.S., you need to stop by and see Mount Rushmore. It's not too far of a drive if you're coming from Rapid City. I suggest bringing some snacks for the trip bu
Fun for the kids to pretend being teachers or students. Scavenger hunt and ringing the bell was engaging. Had lots of fun on the equipment outside. Great history.
Excellent experience here in Keystone. Two dinner at the Ruby House, two success. Fair prices, good food, waiting for the table was pleasant and well managed by the bar bartender and waiter with excellent cocktails options. Difficult to find places i
