I love this place. Working on a back piece and got some piercings done as well. Very professional artists and it’s super clean. When I go in it’s like I’m going to visit some old classmates. At first I was worried about pricing but there the best at what they do and pricing is amazing. I recommend them to everyone.

Just got my first tattoo at age 65! Walter made me feel very comfortable. I just had a small heart/dog paw done and was out in less than an hour. Shop was very clean and I was very pleased with the experience. I will be recommending Castle of Color and Walter to anyone wanting a tattoo.

I’ve been so hesitant to write this review just bc I know “things happen” or whatever. I came back in Nov/Dec 2022 to start on my sleeve tattoos. My second visit wasn’t so good as the first one, Walter did my tattoos & the second one is just complete trash. The more I look at it, the more mad I get about it. Tattoos are not cheap but the work I got was. My tatttoo is faded all around, missing lines…etc. he didn’t outline anything. I’m so disappointed ! Edit to add: Sara reached out to me through text, said we could schedule an appointment for me to come in, I texted her back not once but twice to see what day worked best for her. Never received a text back. It’s been a year now since my tattoo 🙃

The world needs more Cory's. He is such a gentle kind soul and so helpful. He does amazing work! I'm so happy with my tattoo.

Brad couldn't have been a better artist. His skills really are top notch, he's a wonderful conversationalist, and I felt comfortable in his studio. He keeps a super clean work space, always changing gloves and wiping things down. I came to him with a cover up request which he did free hand style and I am very happy with the results. Note: they dont have a lot of parking so be aware of this if youre going for group piercings or tattoos. *I will add a photo of my piece once it's healed*

Eddie Braley was a fabulous artist! This being my first sitting for a tattoo I was a bit nervous but Eddie put me at ease. He explained the process, had prepared some great design ideas for us to choose from and the art work came out amazing! Thanks Eddie! Highly recommend!

This tattoo and piercing establishment was a very chill and relaxed place. I felt like you could just have fun with your experience here. I was not the one receiving services, but observed some very talented folks with the skills to back it up. Very impressed with the artwork that my family and friends received here. I also felt special to be in the front row and be a part of their fun moment. Why not make tattooing a family event. Or just an event period, I was able to relax on the couch and still be a part of the experience with my family. It doesn't get better. Give this place a try you won't regret it!

Talk about a piece of $hit. The "artist" Walter Scrugg, did this master piece with such a articulated finesse. Not only did he seem annoyed right off the back, but when we asked for simple colors to be added to the piece he gave us attitude along with a scuff. This experience was so bad it made my fiance cry and I did not want to even get my tattoo from this artist. We will now have to pay out more money to get this garbage work fixed and looking like a proper tattoo. I would advise anyone getting a tattoo from this place to choose someone other than Walter. Updated: A artist named Sara reached out to help us. We orginally wanted her cause she does great work. Once again she did amazing work. Not only did she fix the original piece but also did an amazing job on mine. We both love our tattoos and loved the experience. Everyone was nice the first time besides the original mentioned artist and everyone was nice this time. Check them out, and give Sarah and Brad a look they have great art portfolios.
