First time experiencing Cuban food. No better place outside of Cuba than Miami. Neat little place. It could have been that I wasn't expecting much from a restaurant in a strip mall. Glad we rolled the dice here. Prices weren't bad for this part of Miami and the portions were very generous. The server was very helpful and patient with our many questions about the menu. My only suggestion is to eat here when you have plenty of time. The meal took longer than expected to come out.
Service was as impeccable as food preparation and taste. Waiting staff was quite pleasant and the overall dining experience was worth my second time enjoying the location since late last year
I was in town and wanted to have a family brunch, and we decided to stop at this place. I have zero complaints, and the customer service was great. The food tasted amazing and large portions as well.
This restaurant might not be up there with the other fancy restaurants in Miami that serve Cuban cuisine locally, but they make up for it in price, quality and quantity especially if you want to bring the whole family. This restaurant has great service and great tasting Cuban cuisine that is very wallet friendly if you know what I mean..the prices are very reasonable without compromising on quality or quantity... we had a ball with a table of about 10 hungry people, we went in hungry and came out full
and very happy without going broke and worrying the tip...LOL...also has a great atmosphere, you'll love ❤️ this place...
Terrible food. Ordered take out just now, picked up within 20.minutes as they said food tastes old and reheated. Ordered a shredded chicken what is suppose to be Vaca frita . They must have gotten two bone in chicken thighs and cut up and refried. Super dry taste old has pieces of bone etc terrible awful no taste since it is old and refried. Their congri rice super dry old as well . Plantain sweet are refried and looks like package frozen ones the chicken soup was all liquid and lots of potatoes no taste . Their previous reviews must have been old, I can tell you 60 plus dollars are wasted throwing out will never order was first time went by old reviews terrible food. We had to return after leaving to get the soup they didn't pack with order. Sad sad they shouldn't pack this food to people.
The waitress was nice but my sandwich was at dollar tree value. Plus the business charges the customer a service fee for the convenience of using a credit card. When a business puts themselves over the customer, it's selfish and inconsiderate to the customer. Especially since it's not mentioned prior to ordering. There should be at least a sign posted or even posted somewhere on the menu. Then when I spoke to the manager, she tried to blame our waitress for not explaining it to us. It's not her fault and that's not nice to blame the waitress for something a business should be responsible for. Based on that alone I will never ever visit this restaurant again.
Very nice Cuban restaurant found open on Christmas day when we were trying to find a place to dine in. José was very helpful to suggest us the dishes. The beef stew was amazing, the boneless grilled chicken was good too. The pork was not so good though. Loved the Pina colada, in my opinion the best one I had. Overall nice experience.
We had the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the Cuban combo dish. The food was absolutely delicious! Perfection! Pilar was our waitress and she was able to answer our questions. Very sweet and friendly. The entire wait staff was very helpful and friendly. We are from SC and going on a cruise tomorrow, we would definitely go back to Casa Juan if we get the opportunity. There was a choice between the Italian place 3 doors from Casa Juan, I am so happy we chose Casa Juan! Must try!!
