Funny thing, we were visiting from out of state and were staying just a block from this great park. For 4 days we never saw a car or a dog there but on friday, our last day there we took the dog to the dog park and they were six other dogs there and it was only 14° outside. This is the best dog park I've ever been to.
Took my two pitbulls to this park for the first time! They've never been to a dog park before and they had a blast :) The people are very friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back again with my dogs and would recommend others do as well! I also really liked the amount of things they supply owners with at the park, such as poop bags, water and dog toys. Really a great way to spend the day with your dogs!
The dogs are as varied and interesting as the people who bring them. My dog, Buck, loves the place. Diving in the kiddy pool and then racing headlong to the far end of the park is maybe his favorite thing to do in life. The park is named for an outstanding young man and veterinarian who left us way too soon. He had the same zest for life that I see in my pup when he's running free. I think of Dr. Leh and his wonderful extended family whenever I'm there. It is time well spent.
Great dog park! Full turf with a long fenced in area for the dogs to play fetch in and run around. There are doggie bag stations lining the fence for when your dog makes a mess. The gate is a two stage entry which let's you enter the first gate, remove your dog's leash and then go through the second into the dog park. This is great because it gives you a chance to get the leash off without other pups jumping all over your own dog and you! Oliver, my wife and I all love this park!
We bring our puppy here everyday. It's a wonderful place to let them socialize with other dogs, people, and children. There are small obstacle courses and owners leave toys there for other dogs to play with. Benches are easy to move to shady spots.
Long area for dogs to run, benches, obstacles for agility training, tennis ball bin, pet waste bags and disposal receptacles, kiddie pools, and water bowls...my dog, Molly, loves it.
I come to this dogpark frequently with my well behaved (trained) small dog. We've always enjoyed playing here until today. If you believe your dog could be or has been aggressive with other dogs please refrain from bringing them here!! It's common sense, right? Now it's one less place I feel comfortable bringing my dog too. It's very frustrating and ticks me off!
Great place to let your dog run free. Dogs large or small are welcome and generally get along with each other. People there are friendly and there are many regulars.
