I think it’s totally amazing that a restaurant as old as Brennans has food that is so timeless and insanely delicious. The space is like a museum that’s still charming. The service is perfect. The story and table service of bananas foster is classic. I can’t say enough about how much this is a must. Reserve so you aren’t disappointed
My experience here was mixed. Both hostess that walked us to our table were nice. Martinique observed our tables being close to another so she offered us to move for more space. The food was delicious. I had the avocado toast, grits, potatoes and the Pineapple soda. Our waiter was not very helpful and quiet. We had to ask for suggestions throughout the entire service. He was very bland with our table. We noticed other waiters being very attentive and giving great menu selections and presentation. This was my first time here and though I enjoyed the food, i was not pleased with my waiter. He may have been having a bad day.
We have eaten at Brennan's many times over the years and it never fails to impress. This time we did something a little more low-key. We came in and just sat at the bar and had drinks and ate some small plates. The experience was amazing as it always it. It was neat to see a bit more of the back end experience and how incredibly hard everyone works to turn out such a flawless affair. If you've never been to Brennan's the brunch is incredible and dinner is incredible but sitting at the bar is an excellent experience unto itself.
First time to New Orleans and this is my favorite restaurant. We came for the Banana Foster dessert, which was good, BUT the real winner was the Poached Pear Plintz. It’s listed as an appetizer, but is really a savory and sweet dessert. It is hands down better than the banana foster. Trust me. Get it as an appetizer and the banana foster as a dessert and thank me later.
Such a grand luxurious brunch with family! The staff was super friendly and made our experience worthwhile! The food was delicious especially the eggs Benedict! And who could leave without trying their famous banana foster?! That was a real treat! I even got cotton candy from the staff because I was super giddy when I saw another customer was celebrating their birthday! Can’t remember the last time I’ve had cotton candy-how nostalgic and fun!
Such a classic New Orleans vibe!! Absolutely wonderful experience at Brennen’s Restaurant! Easily a 5-star spot! The service was not only friendly, but impressively quick. The food was delightfully flavorful, and the portion sizes were perfect. The table side flambé added an exciting touch to the meal—truly an amazing experience. Do yourself a favor and order the bananas foster; thank me later! Located in the heart of the French Quarter on Royal St., this restaurant exudes incredible history and charm. Highly recommend for a one of a kind culinary experience! And it’s decorated so lovely for Christmas! 🎄
Had a wonderful solo breakfast experience at Brennans. The waiters were very attentive and knowledgeable and the food was delicious! It was fun watching them prepare the bananas foster for guests. I ordered the baked apple and the Cajun shrimp and I left very satisfied
We had such a beautiful breakfast experience at Brennan's. Food was excellent, both my husband and I thought we ordered the better dish, which is how it should be. He had the duck confit hash and I had the hussarde, both were delicious, and we split the pear blintz which was so yummy and not overwhelmingly sweet. The service was lovely, so helpful and accommodating, but not invasive. We loved Jaimie and Jordan who helped us. Can't recommend for breakfast or brunch highly enough! Only note I have is that the decor is a little outdated/out of style. Nothing wrong, warm, and certainly clean and well maintained, just a little dated.
Absolutely delicious! I had the Greek Salad and Hummus with Peppers for lunch, it was so tasty, the vinaigrette was amazing, and the hummus was just perfect. Staff were nice and friendly. I visited during a week day and parking wasnât difficult to

We arrived without a reservation and were seated at the bar. It was a little cramped so reservations should be made. It was so worth it. The Short Rib, Stilton whimsy and creamed leeks were outstanding. The portions were on the small side but so
Sweet Baby Jesus, this place is amazing ð The food is authentic, fresh, and very affordable. I demolished the beet salad, the pierogis, and the nutella & banana blini. Phenomenal food with no attitude.
Wow, blown away by our lunch here. We arrived at 1330 without a reservation and they managed to squeeze us in as the last table before the kitchen closed, it was definitely worth the 45 minute wait. Food was outstanding, everything from the fried tu
What a lovely place for breakfast! It was hard to pass up the lunch menu. It was worth the 8 hour drive just for this delicious food! The Fried Tomato Eggs Benedict was amazing. They had the most surreal biscuit, and I couldn't define it because I h
We stopped in for lunch. I had the shrimp and grits with a small bowl of red beans and rice to share. We also ordered the chicken & French toast, chicken plate and a shrimp po-boy with sweet potato fries. Everything we had was delicious and the staff
Great place We weren't trying to find it . But wow we stuck gold. This place has atmosphere and friendly staff. Inside they have an outside area with heaters so you can enjoy the air but be inside. The food came out fast and the portions are huge!!!!
Went here on a Sunday evening. It was very busy but we had a reservation so we were seated immediately. I noticed a bit later some walk-ins arrived with no reservation and had to wait. I didn't see how long they waited because our food came and I was
Collared greens and grits blew my mind. The biscuits and gravy also great. Decent coffee. Fun self-serve atmosphere that works. Super casual and just a great spot for breakfast. Update: I went back again on day 3 of my trip to NOLA. Got the collared

This experience was so much fun Iâve been telling everyone I know to go book a class. I had the luxury of taking a class with Lynn as the teacher and she was absolutely amazing! I am so glad I decided to book this class on a whim and learn about ri
This was one of my favorite museums during my visit. I learned so much. Didn't know about the free People of Color in Louisiana. Imagine if they had been allowed to thrive... how different America would be today.
Great class and I definitely recommend!! Stopped in as a ClassPass user and will definitely make this a regular workout. The class size was smaller than Iâm used to at 11 but the space was very homey and accommodating. The instructor was clear and
