The staff was very nice and accommodating. The rooms had everything we needed and our 3 rooms were put all together which was great for our family. You can't beat the location right across the street from the old town. Loved it.
This is a Wonderful location. Easy to walk to historic Williamsburg. Very convenient to Busch gardens and Yorktown and Jamestown. Not much if a view from the room and no balcony but good size room for a family with several children. The extra living room with pullout sofa was nice and the teenagers loved it.
We decided to take thanksgiving on the road this year since we had family from 4 different states coming together. We booked this through RCI with our HGVC points. We were not disappointed in the property at all. Our first impression was the lovely ladies at the front desk. They let us check in early ( rooms were ready when we came by). Rooms were very clean and well organized. We loved the soaps and shampoos in the bathroom. Complimentary laundry on our floor. The dishwasher has a weird fill pattern ( not the resorts fault) and it was small for the available dishes. We were a little bothered by the $130 per room( we had 2 for 7 people) for the stay. We had a mini kitchen ( due to RCI booking) but we made it work for Thanksgiving dinner ( ordered the turkey). Rooms were fairly comfortable and kitchen was well stocked for the small amount of room. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The hallway was so cold it was ridiculous. We did not use the pool but it seemed popular and apparently very comfortable since it was heated. Walking distance to the Williamsburg historical area. Nice location. We had a great time!
We only stayed a weekend but the unit was clean and well stocked. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were quiet and the bed was comfortable. The only drawback for me would be wanting more restaurants close by.
Our checkin process was easy. We had booked a 2 night stay. We are "owners" so didn't have to deal with the sales tactics that some have to deal with. Both ladies up front were really nice and helpful. We stayed in building 3000 in a 2 bedroom. The rooms are spacious and laid out well. Having 2 very young children with us, the security of the room was not great. The latch thing that flips over so the door won't open was flimsy and barely attached, and it was too low to prevent a curious child from going out if they wanted. We were on the back of the building overlooking the parking lot and as we later found out, a train track. At least 5 trains came by from the time we checked in until the next morning. It sounded like it was in the room with you. The walls are so thin as I was sitting on the couch watching TV I could easily overhear the conversation a couple was having next door about what yogurt they should've gotten and a lot of other topics. It's honestly ridiculous how much they charge for those rooms and couldn't be bothered to sound proof between them. I've felt like I had more privacy at motels half the price per night. We ended up doing some stuff in the area and checking out the next afternoon. Our kids didn't want to stay another night so we drove home. It's a nice spot to spend maybe a night to do as a quick stop between destinations, but I wouldn't go out of my way to have an extended stay there.
To begin: The ONLY thing wrong with our stay was the hard sell of yet another time-share as we checked in. We made it clear, 3 times, that we already are in with a company and that we are NOT interested. Yet they insisted on talking. Ruined the beginning of our vacation, as we hadn't even left the entrance area. After that all was fine.||||This is a very nice place in many ways. Huge room for a one bedroom. Very clean. Easy parking. Just a short walk to the downtown Old Town Williamsburg area, which is a huge plus. Nice indoor pool. And he staff was very helpful --- except for one person.||||But stop the damned hard sell --- it's actually a turn-off to those of us who specifically say that we don't want it and we are much less likely to ever stay there again, regardless of how nice it is. While we'd love to next time we're in Williamsburg, we are really hesitating due solely to this.
We stayed in building 1000. It’s pretty tired looking and very dated. Needs a MAJOR overhaul. Checkin was easy. The room wasn’t very clean. Stovetop was dirty. Yes the “marks” came up when I cleaned it. The bathroom counter top had sticky stuff on it. The vacuum job was pitiful. The best thing about this place was the location. You could walk to Colonial Williamsburg if you wanted to, which I would recommend because parking is pretty limited there.
we choose Patrick Henry Inn because of its proximity to the Colonial Area. We rented a scooter from a 3rd party mama was also able to get to the park with out driving.|| RCI members don't get the new rooms , Blue Green owners do. Our rooms were small but clean, the 2 bedroom only difference from the 1 bedroom was a queen bed vs a sofa bed. same privacy, Both sleep 6

Their outdoor decor for Christmas was very nice.
We ate Christmas dinner here. We were seated in their event room. They should invest in new tables, the folding table had cross bars on two side that made it rather uncomfortable for two of 4 people. F
