I recently visited Black Flag Dive Center, and I’m so glad I did. The level of personalized service here is something else. They made sure we tried on every piece of equipment to find the perfect fit, which was much appreciated with my husband’s size 15 fins. Their staff, especially Jim, is not just selling gear; they’re sharing their love for diving and ensuring you’re well-equipped for safety and comfort. The shop has a great vibe, and the honest, friendly service makes it stand out. Highly recommend Black Flag for anyone interested in diving, whether you’re a beginner or a pro.

Hannah is amazing. Took care of us just before closing on Saturday so we can dive on Sunday. Also was a wealth of knowledge of local driving sites and places to see. Great shop and our only stop when we are in Tampa Highly recommend!!!

I had a blast diving with this dive shop! The team was super friendly and knew all the best diving spots. Rental Gear was comfy and top-notch. I Loved how the instructors shared cool sea life facts and focused on eco-friendly diving.

Had this shop recommended to me by a friend who got certified here years ago. Still shopped around the Tampa area but I kept coming back to how John treated us when we first met. Super down to earth guy and took time out of his day to walk us through how the whole process works of getting certified. Meanwhile other shops didn’t want to give me the time of day when I went in to inquire about their services. Had an amazing time starting with Mike in the classroom and the pool day who was a fantastic instructor then the second weekend with John for the open water dives. Great shop with some great people, they’re all fun and games and know how to have a good time but also can flip the switch when it comes down to business and show the upmost professionalism.

Love this dive shop! The people who run Black Flag are so generous and friendly! They always do their best to help with anything I need and then some. John and the team so welcoming and have helped me throughout my entire dive career. I could not be less happy with the services!

We recently moved to the Tampa area and had the pleasure of doing our first fresh water spring dive at Rainbow River with John, Honesty, Brendon and the rest of John’s awesome crew. From lending us weights when we forgot ours to cooking up a wonderful spread after our dive. They made us feel welcomed and we look forward to doing more trips/excursions with them. The dive shop is also nice and convenient and will be our go to for tank rentals.
