Big Igloo Armory - Gun shop in Pemberton - Store Front, 72 Hanover St, USA

I have purchased several guns, accessories, and amination from BIA. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the products they carry and helped me get fitted for the right gun for my needs. If you're selling a gun, they can also help you with the sales process as they helped a good friend of mine sell his gun. I couldn't be happier with my purchases and I wouldn't go anywhere else. A+

These guys are awesome. They sell new and used firearms with plenty of stock to find something you would like. If it’s not in stock they can usually get it within a couple of days. Prices are always fair and they have always answered any questions with respect and honesty. Glad to have a local FFL!

As my closest FFL, and being a first time buyer; I went to Big Igloo for input and advice on what I should be 'aiming' for (pun intended) as options for a first purchase. The guys in there gave me several suggestions, and answered any DUMB question I could come up with, without making me feel like an "outsider idiot". Since making my purchase, I've gone back NUMEROUS times for further input/advice. I don't feel like I've EVER gotten bad info. I went by there one time to order an additional magazine, and they ended up receiving a whole CASE of them.. so instead I picked up 2 and the Compliance work was done while I waited. I currently have them doing a deep-clean & inspection of a hand-me-down .22, so I can KNOW it's safe to take to the range. Anyone who's left a review complaining about "I don't have time for (phone call), I have customers": This is a tiny shop that only has about 3 employees at any given time MAX... So, yeah- if you're calling at busy times and asking a million small questions; NO, they might NOT 'have time' to play "Google" for you. Definitely WOULD recommend, and totally plan to keep shopping here in the future. Plus- it's so much more convenient than driving all over Jersey to maybe NOT find what you're looking for. (I know I've been let down driving all the way to BASS in A.C., to end up not finding what I went for)

James and Chris are great to work with, they’re super knowledgeable and there to help. I’ve done a bunch of transfers with them as well as purchases. If they don’t have it, they’ll get it. They also can get specialty compliant mags made for us Jeresy people that you can’t buy online. I highly recommend them!

These guys were great. I had first went to hectors outdoor haven were I was treated so rudely I just walked out. I ended up at igloo, and these guys were extremely nice. Even though they didn’t carry any vest i was looking, they were not pushy as to want me to order thru them. They even gave me websites/other companies to go to while knowing I was prepared to spend whatever. Cool guys here.

We recently came in to get my wife her first, and what an experience it was. She knew nothing about firearms and I don't know enough to answer everything she wanted to know so going here couldn't have been better. Nice, friendly, and helpful are all understatements. They let her try everything she wanted and made suggestions as to what she should be looking for in her first one. Not pushy or "salesman-ish" in the SLIGHTEST. My wife had many questions, that I'm sure they have answered thousands of times, but didn't treat her like it at all. So patient, knowledgeable, and cared to know they were satisfying every need we had. Truly a mom and pop, or Father and Son kind of place. Seemingly very passionate 2A lovers, which is a big thumbs up from me. They were excited to see her excitement haha. Really nice selection too- but those guys are what makes this place for sure. Great, great, great dudes. Will be back...time, and time, and time again.

These guys have earned my business forever. So friendly and knowledgeable, and completely willing to take the time to answer every question I had. Every other gun/ammo store I have been in doesn’t come close to the level of customer service this store has.

If you are interested in learning about or purchasing a firearm, and have questions about either firearms or ammo, then this gun shop is not where you want to go. The person I spoke with today, December 28, 2023 at 1:52 pm EST, said, “I do not have time for this. I have customers. Last October in the last week before my handgun purchase ID expired, I went to Big Igloo Armory to purchase a handgun and the salesman said he would not order a weapon for me because there wasn’t enough time left before my purchase permit expired. So, I traveled to Flemington NJ, to make the purchase. The firearm came in after the permit expired, I reapplied for the handgun purchase permit, it came back approved, and I returned to Tactical Training Center, paid the background check fee, and returned 3 days later to pick up my Tisas 1911 45 acp. I recommend TTC if you are new to gun ownership. I am not affiliated in any way with TTC. I only know that the people there will treat you well and answer any questions you may have. Another question I asked today of Big Igloo, December 28, 2023, was what was meant by sub 1 ammo. The person I spoke with said it meant “1 inch per hundred yards”. I asked him what that meant, and he told me that he didn’t have time to explain. I am not sure what Big Igloo Armory in Pemberton does to generate income, but it is definitely not customer service, it is not selling firearms to novice gun owners, and it is not answering novice gun owner’s questions. So, if you are new to gun ownership, or if you want to learn about the process of becoming a gun owner, I would suggest going somewhere else.
