Worst place I have ever stayed at! It was trashy and the hallways always smelled like pee and marijuana! The elevator took forever to open and the right elevator never open after the first time we come down it! The room was moldy the whole glass window where the air conditioner was would move had to kick our door just to get it open. The water in the shower was hooked up backwards. The best part about the room was the balcony ocean front view! I would not recommend this motel to anyone. On the plus side Never seen any bedbugs. But did see a big roach! This place definitely needs some work done to it!! Very disappointed!

This hotel is in a prime location but has seen better days. We booked the ocean view king room for 4 days. I encourage you to check your room for cleanliness... especially the beds before opening/unpacking anything! The first room smelled strongly of Raid/ insect spray and after further checks I asked for another room. The second room was a double queen but in much better condition and I still got my ocean view, so no complaints there. The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful during our stay. Room service does not enter the room once you check in, you need to go to the front desk for fresh linens. The bed was comfortable, pillows were not. There was only one mirror which was the vanity in the bathroom and no full length mirror at all. If there were 4 people in the room it would be highly inconvenient for getting ready for the day. If you drive and want to explore by car I suggest you go early in the morning and come back before 3pm to find parking before the next group of guests arrive. You will not find parking in the free lots later in the day. Overall it was a decent stay. The views are beautiful! And the location is in the middle of everything.

Sleazy. Stayed one night, checked out. There was no external door. Anyone off the street could walk into the hotel. |Inside the room a fort had a hole in it, there was no toilet paper holder, the furniture was stained, the couch had stuffing coming out of it. On the balcony which was carpeted the air conditioner was pouring water onto the carpet. Kids running wild up and down the halls. This is the hotel my husband picked for our wedding anniversary because it accepted dogs. Disgusting. Unsavory people loitering around the hall. Just don’t stay here.

The room was dirty. There was a wad of toilet paper stuck to the wall. The vents were filthy, and there was a ton of dust and dander in the curtains. We were told we would have a full refrigerator and coffee pot but after we checked in the front desk told us the full refrigerator was only for ocean front. The second bedroom had no windows, closet or door. It was more like a dungeon. The entire room smelled like cigarettes and marijuana all the time. The staircases smelled like urine. We were told we would have queen size beds and they were more like full which made our stay even more uncomfortable. The bathrooms were dirty and there was a rotting wood smell in the unit. We burned a few candles and went through a bottle of febreeze during our 3 night stay. The best part of the stay is the location but I will pay a little more for a cleaner, more comfortable place next time.

Hotel Review for Bermuda Sands at Myrtle Beach, SC||I am writing this review to share an extremely disappointing experience my mother had at Bermuda Sands, Myrtle Beach, SC. My mother booked a room through Booking.com, and what was supposed to be a relaxing stay turned into a nightmare.||First and foremost, the room was filthy. It was evident that cleanliness is not a priority at this establishment. To make matters worse, the staff at the front desk were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Shanetta, the manager, spoke to my mother in a tone that was completely unacceptable for someone in her position. My mother was simply voicing her concerns about the state of the room and requesting a refund, as she had not brought any bags into the room or used the restroom.||Instead of addressing her concerns professionally, Shanetta offered another room. Unfortunately, this room was no better. When my mother requested a full refund, she was informed that she would still be charged for one day, even though she had not moved into the room. Frustrated, my mother left and found friendly service and a much better room elsewhere.||To add insult to injury, when I called to express my concerns, I spoke with David, the General Manager. Instead of addressing my concerns, he yelled at me, stating that I was "sticking my nose where it doesn't belong" and that I had nothing to do with my mother's room service. He also stated that my mother would not be getting anything back beyond what had already been credited.||I have a recording of our conversation, and I urge everyone to avoid this rude, dirty establishment. There are many better options in Myrtle Beach that offer friendly service and clean rooms. Save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere. She has the bug pictures but those are being sent higher up.

This place is bad; hands down worst place I’ve stayed and I’ve been coming to MB / NMB for decades. Also pretty sure we had black mold in our bedroom. We (me, wife and 3 kids) got here and the fridge didn’t work so we had nowhere to put our perishables. Went to front desk and told them. Had to wait for maintenance guy to get to work(6p). He replaced it. That one didn’t work either so food spoiled. The pillows are pancakes though the beds were serviceable. The bathroom is tiny and the shower was filthy with mold all over the grout. Furniture is very old. They do NOT clean any during your stay. We were here for 5 days and we’d have to go get towels, trash bags, etc. We also missed that there is no pool here either, just a lazy river. If cheap is what you’re going for and you don’t care about cleanliness, this is your spot. If you have a family and don’t want to feel dirty after your shower, keep looking.

Was trying to have a first mini vacation with my beautiful new girlfriend. Thought I was booking a nice hotel by the beach. Nothing but disappointments from min. One. Parking a half a block away. No coffee but coffee pot . Room totally run down and the size of a walk in closet. Attitude by desk worker. But nice location.beach front. Everything worked .

We stay usually at the $300 night hotel room on Ocean BLVD, but after checking out of one of those hotels and spending all day at the beach and eating dinner I didn't want to drive the 3 hours home. So walking back from dinner I walked in the hotel lobby and asked how much for 1 night, and quoted me $115 on the 4th floor, ocean view, kings size mattress. The room was dated, carpet, some other things but it was CLEAN and the view was amazing. This hotel is usually not our usual standard, but who pays $115 a night in a clean room during prime season at Myrtle Beach?

Loved the pool, loved the area. Apartment was ok.. but definitely not what we paid for. We paid for a 2 bedroom w balcony. We got a studio on bottom floor. Notified them of the error & showed our receipt and still had to pay more to get the 2 bedroom
