We stayed at the Garrett House as it was an upgrade offered to us by the owner. The renovations done to this historic home are truly exquisite and completed by the owner, Scott, and his son. Much attention was done to details that include modern conveniences. Breakfast casseroles were very good each morning. Cereal, toast, and waffles were available.|The location is in a historic district that was very quiet and secure.|A fantastic place to stay for adults especially if you can appreciate the historic, victorian style.|Don’t forget to take time to sit on the front porch!

This is a charming older home. It is well stocked and well kept. The owners were extremely responsive with any concerns. The bed was comfy and the kitchen and breakfasts were excellent. My only complaint was the size of the bathroom. It was closet size. We will return but next time, I’ll try to get a larger bath,

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Bayberry House B&B. We stayed in the Jacuzzi suite, which I highly recommend if you have room in your budget--it's very spacious and elegant, and the bathtub was great for a soak! The breakfasts in the morning were very tasty, too. We had a nice chat with one of the owners about the house renovation. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a casually luxurious, vintage place to stay in Steubenville.

Garrett House is beautifully renovated and so tastefully decorated. Very quiet. In historic district. Great breakfast. Bed was comfortable. It was like stepping back in time. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at the Bayberry House Bed and Breakfast when we attended our granddaughter's graduation from Franciscan University. It was the perfect location in the Historic District of Steubenville. Scott was a gracious host and our stay was very enjoyable. Besides the well appointed, comfortable room and delicious breakfast, we especially enjoyed access to a lovely living room on the first floor to relax and read. My husband also really appreciated access to a computer, wifi and printer as well. It seems like Scott and Derek have given a lot of thought to running a B&B. I have to add that the front porch with comfortable rocking chairs was a plus and the landscaping is beautiful. The hostas and rhododendron were in bloom!

Beautiful historic home, with well appointed rooms and attention to detail. Perfect mix of historic charm, but also modern conveniences. Our suite had a comfy king sized bed and large modern bathroom with his and hers sinks, shower and a jacuzzi. Quiet, relaxing and lovely stay!

Beautiful BnB... everything was excellent! Food and room was excellent. Owner was only a text away. Highly recommend!! Atmosphere of the place was amazing and the huge front porch was a perfect retreat after a long day to sit and sip coffee!

I cannot say enough good things about Bayberry House and Scott and Derek. Before, during and after our stay, they were so attentive to our questions and needs. When our initial plans changed and we had to make an adjustment to our reservation, Scott was able to accommodate our request. Our first day there, we realized that our room was very warm. I sent a text and Derek came right over to fix the issue. The house was cozy and inviting and we felt at home. We were not able to try the breakfast because we had to leave each morning before it would have been ready, but they allowed us to keep microwavable food in the refrigerator, so we could make ourselves breakfast. The bed was comfortable - there were two types of pillows, fluffy ones and flatter ones, so we could pick which was the most comfortable. So much attention to detail - as I said, I cannot say enough good things. Oh, and it was easily to find, not far off the main roads, but in a quaint neighborhood, and just down the street from two great restaurants.
