This park is quiet and comfortable all around. Now the cherry on top would be the Hollywood sign. There's a spot in the park where you could have a seat on the grass and simply contemplate the freaking Hollywood sign!!!! Highly recommend.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hidden gem in Los Angeles. The walkways near the art gallery transport you in time. You will appreciate the park for its natural beauty while appreciating the surrounding neighborhood of Los Angeles. The views are spectacular, and the art gallery is now open for free!
Best place if you want quietness, inward reflection, and appreciation of L.A. life.
We parked in the small lot at the entrance and there’s a stairway at the end to get to the park. If it’s full you’ll have to turn around and there’s a lot of parking going up and around the park. Lovely place to have a fairly quiet picnic. Lots of people there but plenty of space with a great view of Griffith, the Hollywood sign, and surrounding areas. There were a few porta potties as well. Very nice easy walk and dog friendly.
Cute park hidden away from the bustling traffic below. Love the fir trees between the gallery and house as well as the views of the Hollywood sign and Observatory. I definitely would return for a picnic or just to relax. Plenty of parking.
Great place to watch sunset, picnic or stroll. Nice to just walk around the peaceful park. I like how it’s not always loud or busy. Come during weekday sunset. During weekend sunset, it will be difficult to find parking.
Barnsdall Art Park has a great view from different angles of the city n hangout get some sunshine when there is 😂 lately. Has some museum which right now they're close. Nice experience something different from many parks. Viva Los Angeles!!
This is a very nice, free place to visit. There is a great grassy area to watch the sunset. There is also a bunch of free parking. I haven't done the official tour yet. Frank Lloyd Wright designed the place. It's located just east of Hollywood, in Los Feliz/Thai Town.
This small park has big attractions!
The views, history, quiet, and easy parking are just a few of several reasons that make this place a gem.
From this hilltop you get amazing views of the north and west Los Angeles’ basin; offering amazing sunset shows. The storied history of the Hollyhock house keep the area well maintained and filled with fantastical details. Lush landscaping and open grounds provide a great place to sit quietly in sun or shade while sharing time with others or self. And for those who drive, if you cannot find parking on top of the hill there is an overflow lot near the bottom with an invigorating step (or road) climb to the top.

Must-visit LA hiking spot with views of the Hollywood sign. Two trail options (one is easier and one is harder)â¦even the âeasierâ trail is strenuous as itâs up hill for awhile. Make sure you know what entrance you are wanting to enter from an
Visiting from out of state I was bit overwhelmed by all the people while staying downtown. Taking a nice jog over here in this greenery and dirt was an excellent retreat away from it all. Most of the trail was pretty flat and kept on the same elevati

Although it was a little foggy when we visited it was still a great view of the city and an excellent view of the famous Hollywood sign. Plus I got my wings (as you can see) and it was a good time to visit with traffic and parking, which was great, w

You have to see it to believe it! A huge park space, relatively speaking for a park within LA. Most local parks can be seen from the entrance parking lot, whereas this one would take all day to walk around to see and experience, much less drive to th

Valentina and Helen are absolutely wonderful trainers. They always go out of their way to help everybody out: always giving adjustments to improve posture and performance. I always book a session when one of them is there. They also play great music.

I can't speak more highly of this amazing establishment. My friends and I came hungry and were treated to some of the most authentic and delicious plant-based / cruelty-free dishes. I ordered a little assortment and each one became my favorite!
