Aston Maui Kaanapali Villas - Resort hotel in Lahaina - 45 Kai Ala Dr, USA

We loved our stay here. The grounds are beautiful and it is right on the beach. The property has this retro 60's vibe which we loved. There is a main building and then various 2 story buildings with condos. ||We booked it because it had a cancellation policy that worked for us that other rentals did not offer. ||The issue is getting to understand what you are getting for your money. Some units are updated, some are not. Some in great position some less. So I suggest you check with the hotel, exactly what you are paying for. The issue is that you pay the same for a dated and a renewed unit, and that does not seem fair.||Our rooms were deluxe garden view, overlooking the pool. I am sure the ocean view ones are amazing, but since the landscaping is so beautiful, we were more than happy.||If you are looking for a modern 5 star condo glitzy place, this is not for you.||If you are looking for beautiful property, fab location, large rooms, well equipped kitchens parking in front of your room, that has a more intimate, homey, and quiet feel, with lovely staff and service, this is for you.||We travelled with our 2 teenagers (16 and 17), and the location was perfect, with plenty to do walking distance ( shopping, food, etc).||We had dinner at the Castaway once, on our arrival, the setting is stunning, the food ok, and service great.||We used the laundry that is in the back of property, clean and works fine. The gym is no thrills and no view, but is fine.||So, we would definitely return, but do your research on the room, not to be disappointed.

It is rare that I leave reviews, which I should be better about, but I had to take the time to give Maui Villas the wonderful review they deserve. This was my first trip to Hawaii and I was traveling alone with my young son. I booked through Expedia and because of mixed reviews, I was a little nervous to see our room due to reviews of it being old and dated. After traveling all day, it was so nice to be met with smiling and helpful hotel employees. They were talkative and walked us through all of the details of our resort. Once we got up to our room, we were pleasantly surprised by how CUTE our room was. We had a one bedroom with a patio that wrapped around the entire apartment. There was a little patio table outside that we enjoyed morning and night with a beautiful view of the well kept grounds. We had a full kitchen equipped with everything needed for meals and the bed was incredibly comfortable. This unit was far from old and dated, but charmingly decorated and felt very homey. ||||Again the grounds were well kept and the pool area had an amazing view of the mountains with a beach access just steps away. Castaway Cafe was so convenient for grabbing quick drinks and food for the pool. Also breakfast was amazing, highly recommend the prime rib eggs benedict! ||||We were beyond pleased with our stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the island. We will be back!

The 70/80s vibe of this room is outstanding! We had a studio suite with full kitchen, and I loved it. We have a ground floor, and sitting in the garden every morning is relaxing and energizing, to get you ready for the day. Coffee every morning at the main entrance takes you by the pool which is never full of people. You can also relax in the hot tub when you've overdone it, lol. We will definitely be returning to the villas again. Thank you making it so special.

We had some trouble with the first room, we couldn't sleep properly because the noise of some old working stuff outside off the room, and the room was like very bad and old, because of this we lost a night, anyway they kindly change the room the morning after. the room was finally good, but we had trouble we some mantenianz, about water and pipes (no water) this heppened a cuple of time and the last time nobody advice us about no water. In the end the frontoffice was a bit rude about my question of leaving a surf board to o let a company colect the surf board like the company suggested as they do in every structure. So i had to leave the surfboard to the next hotel the Westin because the surf rental couldn't come soon, all this was a bit annoying and we had to take the fly back, all the rest was good.

Appartement Banyan||Le cadre est chouette, la plage magnifique, les couchers de soleil superbes, les barbecue à disposition. ||Les points négatifs : des travaux dans les chambres à proximité dès 8h du matin, c'est insupportable ! (Marteau, scie...) et on entend énormément le bruit de la route derrière dès 6h du matin.||Le wifi qui ne fonctionne pas dans la chambre (résolu en utilisant le Wi-Fi d'une chambre à côté)||La télévision capricieuse à l'allumage||Le lave vaisselle complètement pourri qui ne lave rien du tout||

Je recommande fortement ! Lieu superbe. Nous avions réservé un loft : très grand, calme et agréable à vivre. Très beau jardin. 2 grandes piscines à disposition. Accueil au top et personnel sympathique.La plage est très belle et baignable sans danger lorsque nous y sommes allés. Restauration possible sur place. Seul bémol : climatisation un peu bruyante dans la chambre à l'étage.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice and have always loved it—the café, pool, and proximity to the beach are fantastic, and the staff is great. However, on this most recent visit, our room had a major issue. The noise from large generators or fans right outside the window was incredibly loud and made it nearly impossible to sleep. Despite this setback, the overall experience remains positive, but I hope the hotel addresses this problem for future guests.

This trip was a short overnighter but looking forward to a return visit. Hotel accommodations were great with ample convenient self parking. Love the ping pong table downstairs. Convenient cafe on the grounds with excellent food.
