We bought the combination passes for the Aquarium, zoo, and botanical gardens, and I will say that the botanical gardens was far and away the biggest surprise of this trip! We have been to several different botanical gardens and none have even come close to what these offer in Albuquerque!! Getting the combination passes for a family of five gave us like 7-8 hours of family fun for less than a hundred bucks! We spent over 2 hours at the botanical gardens just walking around and soaking in some AWESOME nature! Expect to spend a couple hours here! Better bring a water bottle and some snacks, the snack booths are quite pricey!! Pros: Absolutely beautiful and absolutely affordable! An absolute treasure! Cons: Expensive snacks! (At least it's going to a good cause!)

I recently visited the ABQ botanical with my family and it was a delightful experience. The garden's lush greenery and vibrant flowers provided a serene and rejuvenating atmosphere. I was impressed by the well-maintained paths and informative signage that enhanced the educational aspect of the visit. The diverse collection of plants and the attention to detail in arranging them showcased the beauty of nature. The botanical garden is a perfect place for nature enthusiasts, families, or anyone seeking a peaceful escape in the heart of the city. I highly recommend it for a wonderful day out.

The place looks sad. No descriptions of any of the plants, this is a Botanic Garden!!! Many of the displays throughout the garden and Bugarium were closed. The bee and butterfly area was also closed. The Bugarium was kind of interesting. I think it is a shame, so much more could be done to keep this place beautiful and interesting. The aquarium which is outside of the gardens was the best part, especially for kids.

Visited in November during the day...seemed to be undergoing Chrismas preparation. Looked a bit disorganized but still very nice & educational for kids. The miniature train park was very lovely! I was comparing to Chicago's botanical garden & we were tired because we had spent a long time in the zoo, so that didn't help. But absolutely amazing resources for families with kids. Make sure to get combo ticket! Buy start with your top priority attraction, because you get tired by the end of the day!

We went for the aquarium but had an unexpectedly good time at the botanical gardens. The Bugarium was neat and the staff were friendly and informative. The gardens were expansive with several different areas.

love going to the river of lights every winter ❄️🎅 gotta get a pretzel and hot chocolate (with salted caramel baileys) 🥨💗 definitely a go to holiday spot! 🎄 if you're going to take the shuttle (bus at the zoo) definitely arrive 30 minutes early because you will be waiting 😬 fortunately we found some spots in the back to park AT the bio park 🙌🏽🚘 going on a weekday (monday) also helped with getting in fast 💨

River of lights was awesome! Had vendors for hot chocolate, cookies, cotton candy and other fun odds and ends! Tons of awesome lights and designs! My kids loved it so much and will be returning!

Beautiful garden with a fairy tale theme. It will be worth it to combine it with zoo and garden. The shuttle was not available. We did the garden and aquarium first then drove to the zoo which was 2.5miles away. I would not advise walking there. Plenty of parking in the covered lot. We spent a total of 6 hours at all 3 parks. It was not too busy at all. Went on a Tuesday morning. The price for 3 parks for non resident was $22 per person, which is a great deal!
