The food at the hotel's restaurant was a too tasty and perfectly satisfy one taste buds, and the staff's dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction was truly commendable. A special mention goes to Santosh & his Staff/Team, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. His attention to detail and commitment to guest comfort were greatly appreciated. Staying at Zostel Shillong was a great experience. Best was all the experience provided by Santosh during and post our stay. He is a really great person and was very helpful during our stay. Despite being busy he used to help everyone out.

Especially for solo traveler, I found it to be the perfect place to connect with like-minded people. The dorm setup was great, offering both comfort and privacy. One thing that stood out was how well-maintained. But the bathrooms should cleaned frequently to ensure a pleasant stay. The dorm rooms were exceptionally clean and Santosh was a great help. He gave us lots of information about places to travel. Great place to meet fellow travelers and make friends. Enjoyed the evening bonfires and chats :)

I recently stayed at this hostel, and unfortunately, it was quite a disappointing experience. I booked this hostel after reading the google reviews and the photos posted. But it was not at all the same in reality. The bathroom floor was extremely dirty, the room was stinky and the bed covers didn't meet basic hygiene standards. The staff's unfriendliness added to the negative vibe, and the nighttime noise from people outside the windows disrupted my sleep. Overall, not a place I'd recommend for a comfortable stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at the dorms. The food is reasonable and good. The common areas are the best part of the space. At night one can find a bonfire going on in the front lawn. You can find a lot of like minded people and socialise here easily. The staff is also extremely friendly and prompt. Cleanliness is something they always ensure, my dorm bed was also sorted everyday. Special thanks to the manager - Santosh is someone who absolutely fits the role. He understands what you need and gets it done pronto. He is always eager to help, at any time of the day. He managed our couriers both incoming and outgoing as well. The only minor issue is that the location isn't the most convenient from a travel stand point as it is not close to the market. But besides that the view of the city is excellent. Would surely visit again in the future.

I recently stayed at "Zostel Shillong" and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The place has warm and welcoming atmosphere and the Manager Santosh does help with lot of information. The place is Clean and has comfortable Accommodation. Although it has nice social atmosphere the problem is, it has limited options if you are looking to work. They have a common area which can be used as a workspace but if it's a sunny day it becomes too warm.
