Zostel Rishikesh (Laxman Jhula) - Backpacker Hostel in Rishikesh - Pauri Garhwal, India

I had a lovely, relaxing time at this place. It was everything I needed and wanted from a hostel and very new, clean and homely. The staff member shakti treated me very well and was very pleasant. I would highly recommend staying here

The location is good as it's on the other side of Tapovan which is a bit calmer and close to nature. However the rooms and the entire building is quite "used" and is not as nice as on the pictures. The rooms are just way too overpriced for what you get. You can find definitely better options that are cheaper

Best place, and i recommend any Zostel chain in India. Nepal you can find clean rooms and world best room service there. And you can enjoy it. (But in Zostel only 18+ age people allowed )

The location was amazing. Very central and short walk to many good restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and nice. However, the room was filthy room. Especially the bathroom. There was a overpowering smell of urine as soon as we enter the room there was yellow ring around the base of the toilet which is where the urine smell came from because I scrubbed the bathroom myself for 30 min and afterwards the smell wasn't so bad. The rugs on the floor were also very dirty we rolled them up and put them in the corner because it seemed cleaner to just walk on the floor. There was also mold growing on the walls. One the pillows was covered in mold. The staff was very nice and apologetic they gave us a new one immediately. This place seriously needs to have better cleaning protocols and it would be a great place to stay.

I have taken 6 sharing bunker bed room. Beds were good and it was very comfertable. Rooms and washrooms were maintained cleanly. Service which they provide, all are good and quick. All Staffs of this zostel are polite. So many indoor games also available and they will conduct some events also. Best stay to stay and u can enjoy your trip.

I stayed here for 6 days and it was an amazing experience! Shubh, the coordinator had arranged evening activities every day that helped people mingle and make new friends. The food in the cafe was really good and the entire staff was very friendly!! There was an amazing sunrise ride planned too which was the best part of the trip! Wifi was good too which helped me work from home! Its the best you can choose in Rishikesh!

We had a booking for 6 people which we booked 10 days prior and when we came our room was given to other people and then they wanted us to stay in different rooms with strangers If you don't want to give room to 6 people together then why are you giving that option online. And when we asked for refund the people at reception says we are not responsible.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Service was also great only thing that i would want them to do better is to keep some in house toiletries just in case someone wants to buy it. i would like a moment to appreciate Shakti . he is an amazing guy who helps people no matter what and shubh as well. rest people are helpful and the distance might be a bit off track.
