Zanzibar is a bar restaurant located inside the Central Park Hotel. My party visited for dinner and we enjoyed the soup and paneer tikka, which had a good flavor. However, the service was a bit slow. We also ordered the Khao Suey, but unfortunately, it seems the chef was not familiar with the dish as we were served a noodle dish instead. We had to cancel it later on. Apart from that, everything else was nice.
We had dinner at Zanzibar and they were able to give us a large table for 11 people in a private part of the restaurant. However, service was clumsy and food was good but some dishes were a bit odd. I found the entire restaurant atmosphere dingy. I was hoping to eat in the rooftop section of the hotel but that was being renovated.
Zanzibar is located inside "The Central Park Hotel" Bund Garden Pune. So don't look for it anywhere outside. First look feels like a decent pub to hang out with friends and family members. A very warm welcome indeed what is required to enjoy the rest of your evening. Had a great time. The food was good and portions too were great. One of the worst place to go, if you are looking for a dinner. Food was cold, staff didn't know what was being on the menu, everything was chef's choice. When we had confronted about food being cold and what was on menu not being available, one of the waiter told us that he will waive off charges but food what is available on the table is what you get. Recommend everyone to visit this place. Great hospitality. All their staff are friendly and treat the customers well. Taste of the food was quite good as well as the ambiance. I have been here twice and will keep visiting. This is one of my favourite place now. You can also organise a party or a family get-together at this place.
Value for money.. nice ambience..service is slow but still give complimentary salad and papad. One star i have taken away is they don't accept dineout coz of which we lose our benefits
Went for this place for a change and was not disappointed at all. The ambience is good, the food is good. To enjoy the food go a little early and take the buffet along with the unmilted alcohol offer!
