Zansi ni Rani nu Statue - Historical landmark in Junagadh - Junagadh, India

This monument stands in tribute to Rani Laxmi, the Queen of Jhansi and one of the leading figures in the Indian Rebellion of 1857. Considered by some to be a warrior queen, she is said to have died in battle fighting as cavalry and charging into the British Hussars. This statue depicts Rani Laxmi riding a prancing horse, her hand holding a sword and raised above her head. It's okay, though not the best depiction of the queen I've ever seen. Worth a look if in the area, but otherwise don't go out of the way to see it.

The plastic sword does not go well with this statue, attention to aesthetic could have been better
