One of the biggest lakes in Bangalore. A major problem with this lake is the lack of development in terms of cleaning, walking space around the lake. Though the lake has very good potential to become a tourist spot. Concerned authorities to step in and act swiftly also inflow of water needs to be filtered keeping in mind that the lake supports a vast amount of biodiversity.
Water is pretty dirty here and you can't properly access the lake but if it's pictures that you want to take then come during sunrise. Honestly this lake isn't worth coming from far away to see but if you're within 5-10 km if here then you can consider coming here and taking some pics.
Not very clean, but that maybe due to the recently concluded ganesh puja at the time of my visit. Govt. is developing a waterfront around the lake, so I am guessing the hopes are high. Headsup, GMaps dies when you enter internal roads, ofcourse if you are coming from a different state in India.
Nice place but severely polluted with city sewage and near by industry...Need urgent protection. Visit evenings to see beautiful water birds gracing sky.

One beautiful place ideal destination for cycling. Lake is not so well maintained. So it would be great if plp of that place become responsible n try to maintain n protect it . I could find many birds over der so a good place for bird watching too

A beautiful place which is clean and green. Walking path is wide throughout with regular sitting benches. There is play area, washroom, sitting benches with roof and excellent views of the water. You can find ducks and birds too.
