This place is famous for boating .Main thing is you can celebrate your loved one's birthday here. It coast around 1200* . With decorations. Very clean and decent place to do walking .
Yediyur Lake is one of the oldest lakes in Bengaluru, India. It's located in the South of the city, near Basavanagudi. The lake is accessible via Kanakapura Road.
Yediyur Lake dates back to the Hoysala dynasty, about 1,400 years ago. It was originally 18.2 acres, but has been reduced to 10.7 acres due to encroachment. The lake was a water source for the surrounding fields.
This is a beautiful lake with pedal boating facility for an affordable rate. This lake is surrounded by a park with walkway which is ideal for morning/evening walk!
Nice place to spent some time in the evening with your family. Boating is available at 50Rs for 30 mts per person.
Great place to spend time with kids. Kids will like the boating facility - but it was just pedal boat when we visited and no motor boats. Half an hour time to pedal, quite a task to do if you are not fit enough.

The park is very calm and maintained well.
One beautiful place ideal destination for cycling. Lake is not so well maintained. So it would be great if plp of that place become responsible n try to maintain n protect it . I could find many birds over der so a good place for bird watching too

A beautiful place which is clean and green. Walking path is wide throughout with regular sitting benches. There is play area, washroom, sitting benches with roof and excellent views of the water. You can find ducks and birds too.

Best time early morning or sun set
Beautiful Clean Big Lake of Bangalore. Very well maintained. The walkway path is quite wide. Vegetation is also good. Benches also provided. Washroom facilities available. Overall very nice & refreshing vibes.
Walking path and a small park is coming up....lots more to be done to complete it. But a good place for walking amidst nature. Fishing and boating facilities can be provided.
